This place is kinda hidden in a cul-de-sac but has some of the best carnitas around in a taco the size of most chain restaurant's burritos and five times as good.

This review is for their new truck on Roosevelt and 23rd. You gotta get the carnitas with the handmade blue corn tortilla. It’s absolutely ridiculous. So damn good. Unlike anything I’ve ever had. Lots of good fresh avocado in every bite.
They also have a delicious pecan agua fresca, which is unlike anything I’ve ever had before. Just wow.
Their salsa and their pickles are on point.
They also have lots of other fun regional stuff that you don’t find at other taco trucks. Pambazos, cemitas, huaraches, tacos arabes, etc. I can’t wait to try them.

Terrible service. The food is very bad, the carnitas tacos taste so much, the butter is already past several days, the jerky smells bad and not to mention, people serve reluctantly, in reality I recommend not going, look for other options

It was a great experience for me, I had lunch and the friendly service was fast, clean and got exactly what I ordered. The flavors are of the roof and will blow your mind away, it's like eating at moms kitchen!

The best ever!! My son & I heard about this little place a few years ago & decided to try it. The most delicious AUTHENTIC food I’ve ever had in the Bay Area.

Always amazing! This place....I’ve been to about a dozen times, but this was the first time since this Covid-19 business. I walked up to the front door which faces the street, and ordered at the new ordering window, my mask donned. La Bamba remains delicious, Covid be damned. The Pupusas Revuelta was tender, juicy, handmade....perfect. Never gets old. The pickled cabbage, pickled to perfection. The salsa....a nice kick but not overbearing, not gonna overpower the pupusa, and provides a nice little bit of heat. I doubt I’ll ever get tired of this place.
