German Chocolate Cake was FIRE! Purchased at Berkeley Bowl. Will go visit Cassandra in Richmond next to see what else she has… hoping to try her pineapple coconut cake!

So I went to 7-eleven in Vallejo the other day and came across a variety of great looking cakes that were individually packaged for about $5 I believe and something told me to try one. I am so glad I did!! I have found my future cake maker. I can’t tell you how delicious Cassandra’s cakes were I still can’t believe just how good they are and I’m so happy I walked into 7-eleven that day lol. I love that they somehow are distributed out here. It was very fresh and I even saved a piece for the next day and it tasted freshly made. 10/10 recommend!!

I came here a few years ago. I would come by once or twice a week then one day they had kids running around as I was trying to eat my gumbo... It kept happening so I eventually said it wasn't worth it

Its a great place to buy cake and baked goods. I got a full pound cake, i forgot to request the icing but she was happy to put it on when i went there to pick it up. They also have boxes of leftover cake for only $5. Good value for your money. Friendly lady at the reception. Will definitely return.

Ordered a 2 layer cake for my for my daughters Baby-shower.. Casandra replied really fast and seemed ahe would be able to make the cake my daughter wanted.. Welp. picture says it all..

I called Cassandra around noon on my mother’s birthday because my other dessert plan fell through last minute. Cassandra was so patient on the phone as I told her that I wanted to bring cupcakes to my mother’s Blues show (she is a singer) that evening and that I needed two dozen to pickup around 4pm.

Cassandra not only had them ready, but she also threw in a sampler box of cake slices! Everyone at my mother’s Blues show LOVED the cupcakes and as you can see…so did mom.

was stuck at home with Covid and feeling sorry for myself. i decided to treat myself to grocery delivery from Berkeley Bowl. Really wanted some good cake. They had all kinds of fancy cakes and then they had all these different flavors from Cassandra's. . . i got a couple fancy cakes and 2 different pieces of Cassandra's. . strawberries & cream and german chocolate. Let me tell you. . .Cassandra's makes REALLY good cake. moist. delicious. at first glance i was a little disappointed because i like a lot of frosting but both cakes were absolutely perfect and delicious! still testing positive after 10 days i decided to treat myself again but this time ordered every flavor Berkeley Bowl carries. . .welp they called me back and told me they only had one flavor available - sweet potato. i was so disappointed but i said just send me the one piece. . . and it was a grudge order tbh because i was not sure i would even like it. .. BAYBEE . . that cake is FIRE. lightly spiced, sweet, moist.if anyone from Cassandra's sees this. . THANK YOU - your cakes fill my heart with joy! also, what days do you deliver to Berkeley Bowl??? I will be there to get me some of that delicious cake!! ❤️❤️

Bought 3 dozen cupcakes for my husband's birthday about 5-6 years ago, everyone LOVED the cupcakes. They were (what I consider adult size) cupcakes. Beautifully decorated and tasted delicious. Have not been disappointed whether ordering for a party or just a quick sweet treat.?

I picked up the sweet potato cake from Berkeley Bowl! It was super moist and delicious. I met one of the owners (I think) who was dropping off the cakes and he was very kind. It was definitely a sweet treat that I will get again!
