Got stuck on train late at night in Richmond, stayed at a sketchy motel in the midst of urbanization, woke up and walked a block to this place— lifesaver! Good strong coffee, nice people, nice space. Yeah, this is what I love about the east bay.

There coffee prices increased rapidly compared to other coffee shops in the past 5 years. They are blaming tariffs but they were increasing prices anyways every year.
They are keeping fliers near the entrance to Snitch on ICE if they are in the area.
Crowded parking, especially difficult for handicapped people if they wanna back out once parked.
That local feel is gone.
