Heard about how great this place was on NextDoor, tried it out and the hype is real..!!! I've now eaten there a number of times in a past few weeks and it's been consistently good every time. The portions are solid and it's a Dad and son that run the business. This is the type of family owned business that I will def support.!!

This place is delicious. It is Latino owned and that makes it for a twist! The sea food pastas are our favorite and so delicious. The pizzas are thin enough and also with great flavor. We've become regulars here!

Pizza was dry and it had like no sauce at all felt like I was eating cheese with the thinnest Dough and just toppings not only that I ended up paying over 50 bucks for just two pizzas. Paying that much I expected a good quality pizza not some flat bread with cheese and drenched in oil. The sausage in the meat lover pizza was disgusting definitely on the cheap side. I'm all for supporting local small businesses but I was truly disappointed spending money here for such poor quality. If I was lookin for cheap quality I highly recommend Little Caesers at least better for your buck and decent quality

Delicious and filling....quaint little spot in Richmond, Ca. Would recommend going back more than once.

My first time to try the pizza and it did not disappoint. Crust, sauce, and cheese all tasted great. The pizza was fresh, hot and very tasty!

We have been meaning to try David's Pizza and Pasta for quite some time now. We live in east Richmond and it's a quick drive. We decided to do takeout and tried the chicken Parmesan with red sauce penne and the Richmond Special spicy pasta. Both were incredibly flavorful and a very nice sized portion. We could have shared just one entree. I think this is now our fav takeout Italian place in the area. Looking forward to trying more of the menu and the pizza!

Came here for the pasta to try this time. Hoping it would be better. I don't know, the noodles were pretty stiff, sauce falling off the noodles, not enough flavoring, shrimp was alright, I believe I got the shrimp alfredo. I would say this place is definitely overpriced.

Finally I got to try the food from this restaurant. I've seen people talking about it on Facebook Richmond group and also nextdoor. I loved the story and wanted to support the business. I called the restaurant directly to order delivery vs using doordash or other delivery apps thinking I would save them some money (because those apps would have charged them commission). The restaurant charged $4 delivery fee which I thought was reasonable (we are about 3 miles away). We ordered a large pizza 16 inch, half David's special and half meat lovers. I'm unclear if they charged extra because we ordered half/half, but this pizza came down to $31.99. The pizza was thin crust, which I personally preferred actually, and it tasted really good. It's certainly did not taste like cheap pizza and the toppings tasted fresh. We also ordered the pasta, David's crazy Alfredo. The dish tasted good, though it could use a little extra pinch of salt. It had red pepper flakes so it had a little kick. But again, the ingredients were fresh and this was a yummy dish $23.99. The food arrived quick, within 30 minutes, we ordered for early dinner (around 4ish). Overall, I think their food is good, I just want a bit clarity on their prices. I did call back and inform them that the menu prices online did not reflect what I was charged (and the deviation is quite steep, 23%). But perhaps it was the extra charge to make the pizza half/half, but it would be nice if it was communicated to me ahead of time so that there was no surprises. When I called back, I think they too were taken aback and did not know what to say which made it even more awkward. Though they might have told me the total cost for my order, but when making a phone order it was unrealistic to expect customers to be doing math on the spot on the phone (adding the cost of food per menu plus tax and other charges), so clarification of additional charges (if any) would be a fair thing to do. Another suggestion would be to allow customers to add tip when we pay using a cc (they didn't ask for signature when they delivered the order so there is way to tip on the card). These days, Not many have cash on hands to tip. I hope that my honest feedback would help them to improve as they are a fairly new local business and I'm willing to give them a chance to improve.

I ordered from David's Pastas and Pizzas fro the first time this evening, I had it delivered. I had been hearing about it for a while. I got a pepperoni pizza and the penne with sausage and hamburger. All I can say is that it exceeded my expectations, so delicious!!! The pizza was incredible like East Coast, which is a good thing to me. The pasta I took one bite and fell in love with the flavors. Do yourself a favor and keep this local restaurant in biz, its one of the very best. Mangia!!

Just ordered from David's for the first time and I will be back. The food is delicious and the portions are large. And the owners seem like just the type of people I want to support.

As soon as you walk in to David's pasta and pizza you're greeted immediately and asked if your dine in or pick up. The place looks very clean and spacious. If you dine in you get complimentary Fresh bread served with a garlic and tomato oil spread. The bread is so soft and paired with the oil spread, DELICIOUS. We ordered a large Hawaiian and two glass coca colas. The slice is thin and the crust is soft. Just the right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings 5/5 will definitely be back again......

Was in the area and found place on Yelp. So glad we did. We will be back. Not much curb appeal to this box of a building but the pastas and pizza we had were delicious. Dined in. Got served fresh bread and a delicious oil-tomato-garlic spread. Ordered the Richmond Pasta which I guess is pretty new to the menu. Delicious creamy tomato sauce with chicken, shrimp, sausage, and a nice kick. Ordered a personal pepperoni mushroom pizza. Server brought us parmesan cheese and it was the good shredded kind (not grated). It was so good we forgot to take pictures and ate it all before we remembered.

The pizza was soggy and expensive! $15 for a personal pizza?
