really cute place to try some new ciders and wine. i was here for about an hour and a half and enjoyed a flight and a glass from their taps. the workers were really kind and the ambiance was a nice tucked away, chill vibe from the city and oakland. worth the 15 min drive! i would come back for a cute date night or on a hot sunny day for the back patio.

The place is nice especially for big groups, there is a lot of space in the warehouse. We only had drinks and the ciders are good. I liked the Nu Dry and the guava one, but tasted too still at this place not gaseous at all). Similar to when you open a can and leave it there for a while (-1).The location is a little inconvenient to get too as well for people without cars. Nothing around it.

Beautiful views! The was really good. The beignets were fresh and hot. So good! Wonderful wine and cider on tap. Definitely a great place for a date or a glass of wine with the girl's. They had live music, so the cover charge was $5. I ordered the poke tacos, French fries, beignets, and shrimp pizza. All was good, except the poke tacos. The weather was perfect enough to see the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate. Watching the sail boats go pass really made it even better. The location is definitely a hidden gem. Nice people working there also.

Was introduced to this company and their excellent hard cider at our local Farmer's Market. The customer service rep on site was so helpful and did such a great job telling me all about their excellent product. Taste testing was a lot of fun . . . product is healthy, refreshing with a nice "buzz" to it. Yes, I am now a customer. Thank you!

While down in the bay, escaping the Sacramento heat, my husband and I and our dogs met up with a friend at Far West Cider Co., which was pouring inside Riggers loft. They had a cover the day we were there, because there was a band and live music on the patio but the view is stunning, and the whole atmosphere is very open and modern. I loved that there were options for other beverages and food as well but the cider itself was delicious. We each opted for a different cider so that we could try a variety of the options and compare. The cider was clean and crisp and not too sweet.

Staff extremely uninformed about gluten and gluten allergies. If you have a gluten allergy I do not recommend you eat there.

Cool spot, lots of space. Cider was yummy. Right on the water so must be nice at sunset.

i felt REALLY bad when i found out we accidentally crashed a birthday party on Sunday the 18th. Then I felt humiliated when you said, “that’s not cool”. Like you assumed we did it on purpose. We were so embarrassed, we left immediately. We’re really sorry. We honestly didn’t know. I had heard about your establishment through Next Door and drove from Marin to try it. Again, apologies. -john

This has a nice casual atmosphere and a fantastic view of the SF skyline and bridges. The music was lovely as well. There was a nice variety of Ciders for a few different tastes.

Revolving taps of unique apple ciders in a spacious industrial area with indoor and outdoor seating. Bring extra layers for the afternoon as it can get windy.

Far West Cider has a stand at the Saturday Ferry Bldg Farmers Market for a while but i only recently gave them a try and got immediately hooked. I've seen their tall cans at various spots around SF as well-- the design of the guava can is very eye-catching. I built my own four-pack a few weeks ago and was able to taste their various products. When I went back again, one of the staff told me to visit their spot in Richmond and there was a mead drink that was pretty cool. I convinced my friends to go and we went this weekend. The weather was perfect. There was great live music. The pours were... beyond generous. An excellent excursion from SF! I took Bart to El Cerrito Plaza and my friends picked me up and it was a quick drive over. The outdoor space is lovely with a great view of the city. They share a space with a winery so my friend was able to change over to wine when he felt overwhelmed by cider. I ordered the beignets which were delicious and perfectly sized (2 bite-sized as opposed to Cafe du Monde sized). I got some full sized pours and also a flight to taste some of the ones I hadn't seen at the farmers market, including the mead-jito which was across the board popular with my friends. We made a reservation for Saturday afternoon-- you do have to put down a credit card and will get charged if you cancel last minute and my friend noted that the reservation system was a bit confusing. The main door was closed when we got there so it was a little confusing to find the door to get in, but aside from those hiccups everything was great. The group before us (a family) had not made reservations and it was okay. I don't know how often or how many people make it out to Point Richmond, but it was a great spot. With excellent cider. Love it!
