Beautiful festive Christmas decorations, excellent food, attentive service and an overall wonderful dining experience! Love this restaurant! Will definitely be back!
Spending Thanksgiving here was a night to un-remember. I should've read the reviews over the past year. 45 minutes before my husband, brother and I show up, I call the restaurant to double check our reservation was still solid since I made it through "open table" where things went sideways in the past. I hear the receiver pick up and immediately slam down. Thought maybe somebody bumped into the phone and it dropped so I call again, same thing. So I wait a few more minutes and try again thinking maybe they're just too busy. Once again, same. I thought this couldn't possibly be intentional and gave the benefit of the doubt. We show up and are greeted by a surly barman, who says "you the 8 o'clock?" And I reply that we were. He then mutters something about "calling for hours". For *hours*, really?? If my brother hadn't traveled an hour out of his way for this and we were all hungry, I would've given him a little bit of his own and left. I've never bitten my tongue so hard in my life. I didn't have it in me to cook for just the three of us. By the time I booked our reservation, 8pm was was the only available time left. We arrived on time. Each of us having worked in food, service, hospitality, and janitorial in the past, we were already aware, as the last reservation on a holiday night, the staff would be tired and would want us gone within the hour. We planned to enjoy our meal but knew not to linger. We ordered quickly and while he was taking our order, the waiter asked if we wanted our dessert to go. Really? We'd just arrived. Waiter was nice but asked again if we wanted our dessert to go, 40 minutes into our meal. If you're going to make 8 PM an available time for a dinner reservation and charge us the full jacked up prix fixe holiday price, then remind your staff not to rush Customers. At least give us an hour! He tried to make up for the bums-rush later with a lot of Small talk at the end. We were in at 8pm and Could easily have been out by 9pm, but i'd had it with the subtle and not so subtle treatment so far and decided to enjoy the last of my glass of wine. We were out the door by 10 after 9. Could not have been more satisfied seeing the visibly angry look on barman's face. If he'd been less of a jerk, he might've been out sooner. I'm sure someone reading this will want to jump on board defending the blue-collar worker, but we *are* blue-collar. Shelling out $400 for Thanksgiving dinner for three people was not easy for us. If you accept getting paid on a holiday, even if it's mostly in tips, then don't take it out on the customers. Put your big boy pants on and make a decision. I've been through this myself: Long hours, working in a kitchen or restaurant is not easy not to mention difficult customers, the whole bit. Working a shift on a major holiday. You do it because you have to. Many of us have been there so I can see no excuse for the way we were treated last night. I don't care if a meal for three costs $50 or $400+, You don't treat people like this. I remember thinking before we left the house, "I hope they're nice". Oh, and as we were leaving, there was a stream of gross water leaking from an overhead air duct pouring into a bucket on the floor.

Karen was an excellent server and food was fresh and flavorful, definitely go early as calling ahead did not help us in getting a table, even after multiple phone confirmations earlier in the week.
Thanksgiving dinner was sadly disappointing. Reservation made well in advance after triple checking that a traditional Turkey dinner would be on the menu. Only after being seated and ordering drinks were we told that the restaurant had run out of turkey. How does a restaurant run out of turkey by 5 pm on Thanksgiving? The dry chicken roulade that was offered as an alternative was just not special. Not sure if we'll return (after many holiday meals at Hotel Mac}.
Very very noisy in the upstairs back room. I suggest some sound baffling on the walls. It's no fun dining when you can't hear a word anyone at your table is saying.
Our second annual Thanksgiving dinner at Biancoverde! The restaurant was far from full, but before even finishing our appetizers, the waiter was bringing our main, family style, entree, which consisted of multiple plates, since it was a "dinner for 4". We felt rushed, even to the point of the waiter moving my husband's soup bowl while he was still eating! The food was delicious, as usual! We finished our meal and noticing that the restaurant was still much less busy than last year, decided to relax and enjoy the time spent with my sister. She'd flown in just the day before from NJ. After a few minutes, we started to feel "watched" by the waitstaff. We decided it was time to leave. Will we return? Yes. Will it be for another Holiday meal? Probably not.
Delightful ambience, great service, perfect before theater experience across the street at Masquers. Only quibble- entrees sides sere blah. Possibly frozen? But that's just a silly quibble. We will definitely be back!
We were actually staying in the attached hotel, which we never will again thankfully this restaurant had good service nice staff and amazing food. We will dine there again.
Get the meat lasagna. It's my favorite of all the places that serve lasagna. The homemade sauce is the key. Yum.

We had a delicious meal on Sunday evening. We were directed to a quiet booth and our waitress was very attentive. Both the food and wine were delicious, and the background piano and violin music (live) was a very welcome addition to our meal.
My wife was out of town for business and I thought I would take my thirteen year old son out for dinner, and I had been craving Italian food for some time. It's probably been 5 or 6 years since I had been to the Hotel Mac and I remembered it was always pretty good, so I spent a few minutes going over the Google reviews and thought let's try it. We started with the calimari which was quite good, then my son had the mussels which was different than he's had in the past, but he loved it, and I had the seafood risotto, now my dish was not what I would consider great, but then again I'm super picky about risotto, but the seafood was cooked to perfection. Now the dessert was spectacular! My son had the tiramisu which he always gets when it's available, and he told me it was the 2nd best he's ever had. I had the coconut pie and I thought it was incredible. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it took waay too long to get service in the beginning. But I would definitely eat there again.

We love the food and the staff. Brought some out of town friends and they really enjoyed their time.
I have eaten here 4-5?times and each time the food was consistently good. The bar cocktails are also exceptional. The ambience is great and the staff are friendly and attentive.
We celebrated our anniversary tonight and everything was amazing. We shared a bruschetta appetizer which was delicious. We both had the Ribeye Steak and loved it. Super tender and good portions. Jose is always on top of everything and our favorite server.
