Love this cafe! Great options for DF/GF

Coffee and service was ok however limited to no seating taken up by laptops.

Super local vibe, love that. Nice baristas. Coffee is sour for those who can taste sour coffee (some love it). I can’t drink it. But: Baked goods have many decent GF options - yay!

Though I like the homey vibe it’s somehow cool too. It needs some cozy injection of color or style..also doors stand ajar so wear warm clothes is you run cold at all.

Outdoor space in back is a-dorable😍

Really appreciate it’s here💕

Upscale, pricey, priceless.

Young male Barista very unfriendly and hostile attitude - clearly doesn't like interacting with customers - scowled when I asked him a question, and seemed unhappy in his job. Why work front of house? Made me regret coming here - should have stayed in downtown Oakland. :/ Coffee mediocre.

I've been staying at a lovely hotel in Richmond Point, a charming and artistic community. The friendly atmosphere makes me feel like Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz," embarking on adventures with an invisible Toto along the yellow brick road. One of my favorite spots is Kaleidoscope, where I love to enjoy fresh orange juice in the morning along with delicious options like avocado toast, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and egg salad. I appreciate that I can either sit down and soak in the delightful ambiance, accompanied by soothing music from artists like Frank Ocean and Solange, or grab my meal to go. The interior of the building itself is quite impressive, adding to the overall experience.

I was left entirely disappointed with the service provided. While the staff was friendly enough, they kept forgetting to make my food order and then made part of it wrong. Waited for 20 mins for nearly burnt toast. I’m sorry to say I won’t be coming back.

We were allowed to roll our bikes to the awesome private deck in back. Deck seating amongst trees and greenery, wind protected. Nice variety of bev options, GF, Vegan and paleo options.

Dietary restrictions: 3+ GF options, locally produced. Banana muffin was fresh and tasty.

The outdoor patio is great, calm, quiet, focusing, until staff decide to make it their personal living room with video and audio played without headphones loud enough to hear across the space. I think it's the lacking of consideration for, because limited awareness of, what it means to create an intentional space. This is the kind of thing that's so so easily fixed, I hope it is because Kaleidoscope is a local institution.

This place has some delicious coffee. There's also plenty of spots to sit and relax and enjoy your coffee. The viatnamese iced coffee is my favorite.

Cashier took order, but barista was too busy straightening up to make drink. Had to ask why it was taking so long to make my drink. Both cashier and barista acted surprised I hadn't been served yet. No other customers in site.

Very nice cafe with great atmosphere. Yet the barista was not inviting and I’m certain she gave me whole milk rather than the oatmilk I asked for because I became sick within an hour after consuming beverage. This is not okay. Especially after discussing what milk options are available. I made my preference clear.
