Tried this local Salvadoran spot in Richmond and really enjoyed it. I ordered two beef tacos and an authentic Salvadoran-style horchata, and everything was on point. The tacos were flavorful, well-seasoned, and made fresh, and the horchata tasted homemade—not overly sweet and very refreshing. You can tell this is a family-run place that cares about the quality of their food. Always happy to support local businesses like this. I’ll definitely be coming back.
I'm so happy to find this place. The home cooking is the real deal. Sopa de para is to die for. I almost licked my bowl. Best naade tortillas ever and such kind people. I'll be eating there a lot.
This restaurant is not where it says. It is operating out of a truck across the street, but they did not explain that when I called. I ordered a steak sandwich and they put the hot meat on top of the lettuce so it was wilted. It had a little bit of cheese and a tiny bit of mild peppers, but no other toppings. The bread was good. The unseasoned fries were in the plastic container, so they got soggy. 3/5 for a $20 sandwich w/tax and tip.
