I'm biased as I have loved Long John Silvers since childhood. It's as delicious today as I remember it in the 80s. This location is in the hood, so normalize your expectations. That said, no comment on the service, except that at busy times they may inform you to wait 10-20 minutes for fish orders. Also, it's a Long Johns & KFC combination joint so ordering can be a bit tricky.
I would love to give a higher rating. I really would, but my list will explain why i didnt. First i must say the food was Excellent! The slaw crisp and fresh. The chicken and fish were crispy on the outside and succulent almost buttery on the inside.. sorry kfc but i love ljs chicken way more!!!! But that was also part of the downside of the meal. And i admit each item, by itself was small, but when you add up the total.... well, you decide.. To start it was later in the evening,...
