Yummy breads for all occasions!

What took me so long to try this bread!!!! After passing this bread at the Thursday farmers market ( I had mistaken thought it was all gluten free) I finally bought it at the Sunday farmers market and WOW! This is bread as one dreams of it, dense, moist and so flavorful. I will be a regular now and sing its praises to all my friends!

We picked up a loaf of the Gluten Free(GF) Market Olive Sourdough at the Pinole Farmers' Market, open Saturdays 9am-1pm. Wow, what a treat! We loved it. Doesn't taste like GF. Really, really good. We will try the GF Cranberry Walnut Sourdough Bread next time! BTW, had the GF Apricot Ginger Scone last month. Awesome too!

I only eat Dan's gluten-free bread, and am so grateful for it! As a former bread baker I know how hard gluten-free baking can be to master. The gluten-free whole grain sourdough loaf makes a toast that would hold its own with any other whole grain sourdough. This is a real wholesome food, not some lump of weird starches and cellulose...I suspect it is a measure of the quality of his other products, though so far the only other things I've tried are the gluten free scones (equally nourishing and delightful!)

Completely tasty bread!!! I love that various types of grain are used for different loaves by the baker. Lots of options for vegans, and some sourdough without gluten! Online, you can order and get it shipped!

Marina Bay Bakery makes one of the best gluten free breads I have ever had. If you are familiar with gluten free eating, you're likely used to compromising when it comes to bread. But not at Marina Bay Bakery! I wanted to try the sourdough, but unfortunately they had run out. So I decided to try the multigrain sourdough, and I'm glad I did! It goes perfectly with spreads, meat, or any other toppings and great for a picnic! I'll definitely return earlier to try the regular sourdough next week. Dan comes to the San Rafael Sunday farmers market and offers payment by venmo and apple pay in addition to normal payment methods.

I'm a gluten-fan ... turns out that whole-grain works for my digestive system, where white-flour doesn't. I haven't tried the GF loaves, but the whole wheat loaf I got is the best! Great texture! Excellent taste! I eat this bread plain, with nothing else on it to distract. I'm used to Craig Ponsford's breads, and this stacks up. (especially good now that Craig isn't baking as much for the public)

Absolutely delicious bread!!! I love that the baker uses different varieties of grain for different loaves. Lots of vegan options, and some gluten-free sourdough! You can order online and get it delivered!

Dan's sourdough gluten-free bread is the best thing in the world! It is deliciously crisp on the outside and perfectly springy and divine on the inside. We are now subscribed to a weekly delivery of this loaf and it's changed our lives considerably! I hope everyone gets a chance to taste this magic. We are hooked. Thank you Dan and Marina Bay Bakery!

I heard about this bakery by chance on a Richmond Nextdoor thread and learned they sold at the Richmond farmers market. I went and bought 2 loaves of the GF sourdough (my husband hadn't had proper bread in years) and we both loved it. Dan told me they now take orders and deliver locally. We had our first bread delivered this week, and more next week. It's kind of magical to have fresh baked bread delivered, and Dan is really nice. GF bread is great, so I assume the regular sourdough is to die for! Support this business and order bread!!

Marina Bay Bakery is made in an home kitchen. they are present at the orinda, richmond, and corde madera farmers market. offerings: pita bread, scones, sourdough breads eats: whole wheat sourdough rye ($7 day old) -fascinating rye bread with a lot of tartness and rye flavoring. also molasses, fennel seed, caraway seed. -rye had more "taste" than the regular sourdough bread. crumbs: -parking is visible at orinda's farmers market. just happen to get street parking. later maybe better than sooner at finding parking...

Is there anything better than a loaf of homemade bread? Well if you want to make your experience even more extraordinary make sure the bread comes from the Marina Bay Bakery. Dan Gildor's baked bread is an absolute joy for the palette. My husband and I love the spices Dan uses to accentuate the flavors in the rye loaf. And as vegans, we are delighted to enjoy Dan's creations along with everyone else. Thanks, Dan for making our taste buds soooo happy.

I stopped by the Richmond farmers market for the first time and was happy to discover the Marina Bay Bakery booth. I am always on the lookout for gluten free bread that is edible, and am mostly disappointed. I bought a loaf of the gluten free sour dough and it is by far the best gluten free bread that I have ever tasted. I don't know how they managed to get the texture and taste so perfect. The loaf is quite large and, after slicing, had about 16 slices. No more commercial grocery store cardboard for me. I will be going back to their booth or ordering on line in the future.

I found out about Marina Bay Bakery via a group I'm involved in. Dan, the man behind the operation that I met, is a great guy, but more importantly, he's a wizard with flour and yeast. I bought a loaf of the sourdough and a few pitas. Foolishly, I shared this bread with family and friends, and the response was pure delight from every one of them. Foolishly you say? Yes, because I'm now left with no bread to enjoy myself. Get in touch with Marina Bay Bakery if you want to taste some amazing sourdough. Well worth the calories!!
