Came in and requested 3 plates. I had asked for one to go. She stated that she would have “to go” plate ready. We finished our meal and had asked the girl if the “to go” plate was ready. She said it was being made 20 min passed by and I asked if it was being made. Then come to find out the girl that rang us up never charged me for the third plate. I had waited for nothing. Thanks for wasting my time. Also too much vegetable not enough noodle.

2025-style pricing needs to stop. This restaurant serves serviceable Japanese/Mexican fast food fusion in a dumpy strip mall in Pinole, but it is literally more expensive to eat at than getting a meal at Bay Wolf on Piedmont. Yall are serving basically fast food. Get a grip, know your market, and charge reasonable prices.

The food wasn’t even mid food was over priced and over cooked . I ordered two plates totaling 70+ dollars one steak and shrimp plate with Undo noodles ( super soggy due to the sauce ) and one Rice steak and shrimp plate ( everything was cooked horribly) . This place is over priced and the food is disappointing.

Worst first impression ever. I waited 47+ minutes for a simple takeout order after paying over $40. Why? Because they were too busy pumping out orders for DoorDash and Uber Eats while ignoring the paying customer standing right in front of them. Absolutely unacceptable.

I even told the cashier this was my first time visiting, and clearly that meant nothing. If this is how they treat new customers, it explains a lot. Chef Gordon Ramsay says no customer should ever wait more than 30 minutes for food — and he’s right. This place doesn’t care about that standard, or its customers.

It wasn’t even busy. No excuse, just terrible priorities and terrible service. The food could be five-star quality, but when you disrespect customers like this, it doesn’t matter. Never again. Customers, save yourself the time, money, and frustration — avoid this place.

Well, I drove 20 minutes out of my way for a date, to try this place for the first time. Arrived, and sign says “closed til further notice”.
I am only writing this review in hopes that you can make sure and update your hours of operation on Google, should this happen again. And, with all due respect and understanding, life happens.
I just wished I had not driven here, being closed, but google listing says open until 9pm.
.
We were both really excited to try you guys out, from hearing great things about the food.

Hope all is well, and hope you open again soon. 🙏😎

Came here and got 2 plates. One of them was shrimp and steak the other one was just shrimp. They told me it was gonna be 25 mins so about 3 mins after I ordered I called and asked if I can add steak on the shrimp plate. The steak and shrimp plate was $30 and the one with just shrimp was $25. I was assuming Id pay a $5 difference but ended up getting charged $15 which was ridiculous. I spent $75 on this place and this is not even real hibachi. The flavor is lacking ALOT. People that say its good must have not had real hibachi because I was disappointed with the price and the lack of flavor. The girl at the front was nice but Overall I was disappointed.

This is my new FAVORITE!! First, it must be noted that I have a health condition that forces me to be extremely careful and protective of what I consume. That said, my sister explained to the co-owner, Sylvia, what i could and couldn't eat. Without hesitation, she went on to suggest an absolutely amazing feast of a meal, shown in one of the photos. Missing the ingredients that I couldn't have didn't matter in the least. The prepared meal pushed every button imaginable!! One could describe it as finger lickin' good!! Then, to top it all off, we sat and chatted with the husband-and-wife owners of the establishment. They were absolutely salt-of-the-earth people, MY kind of people. The story behind the growth of this establishment is what life in America is supposed to be about. Long story short: this place is DA BOMB, and everybody needs to try it out first chance you get!!!

I ordered from here last Friday (pickup DoorDash for myself) and it was almost $70 for chicken/ shrimp plate, 6 pieces of gyoza and agua Fresca with two extra sauces.
Hibachi and Mexican are legit two of my faves so I was definitely cheering this place on. Sadly everything kind of just fell flat. The food was fine, the Agua fresca is definitely not what I think of when I think of Agua Fresca (it was more like a small passion fruit tea……a very mellow flavor)
Like other reviews have stated….:the prices are HIGH and honestly I would probably pass on this place if ever again.
Side note: my chicken was cooked perfectly

First off I would like to start off with the food here is okay it’s not that great for 120$ for 4 plates is completely insane and ridiculous I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this place especially for the amount of food you’re getting !

I feel that for the 37 dollars I paid just for a single dish, it is not what I expected. I was very happy to try comfortable mexa-china but it was not what I expected. It is too expensive for me. I would say that it is extra salty. I ordered the spicy noodles and they were not. They tasted not spicy at all and everything was extra cooked, I hope they can improve on that since we all have different palates, also your comment that says that the price can change without being notified I think it is not right the customer should know what they are paying for, good Good luck, I hope you can improve and I wish you the best.
