As a gigging musician (The Real John Gary) you cannot beat this spot. Incredibly family-friendly and dog friendly. Best fish-n-chips in the bay. Always a friendly crowd and friendly staff. Oh, yea, and the view. Come out on Friday/Saturday/Sunday for great live music. Thanks for supporting local musicians!

I like the location, the food was good but when it was time to pay apparently there was no way to get a paper receipt or see the actual charges on the electronic machine and we didn’t know that the tip had been charged already at 20% which is fine but the server requested more tip implying that the tip wasn’t charged. When we got to our car and did the math, we realized that the tip was charged. Sketchy service 😑

Heard this place was popping and decided to stop by this past weekend. Since it’s a holiday weekend, we were told it could be up to an hour wait but were seated around 30 minutes. We loved the outdoor vibe, live entertainment, and beautiful weather. Staff was friendly and attentive. However, it did take awhile to get our fish and chips, ~45 minutes. The texture of the breading was amazing, a combination of flaky and crunchy, however, unfortunately the fish tasted really bitter almost as if it were on the burnt side or maybe fried in older oil. Also, the fries were on the colder side. Unsure if the quality was off due to being a busy night on a holiday weekend but it was hard to overlook the overwhelming bitter flavor. I’d be curious to try the other dishes but I probably wouldn’t go back for the fish and chips.

The fish and chips is bland and super oily. I felt like I would have a heart attack if i finished it. The rest of the food we had was mid. I felt grossed out leaving the restaurant. The waiters were nice but the wait for the food was longer than average, we waited about 30 mins for the food to come out.
All around- the location, the food the atmosphere the service the unique area it is at the music….. all of it and more…. I enjoy taking my family and friends there because I know they will be in awe …..💕

Run, don’t walk. The menu is small but so delicious. Rich flavors without being too heavy. Great views. The chowder was to die for. Send me the recipe, chef!! Also the lemon posset was perfect!

Don’t bring your family here- you will leave disappointed. We came here expecting to get bbq- from Black Star Bbq. ApparentlY that restaurant was replaced with and underwhelming restauraunt called Sailing Goat.
All you really are getting is atmosphere and a view. I know 5 places with better fish and chips much closer. Bottom line - a glass of wine and fish and chips was $50, and they don’t serve halibut, just greasy rockfish. Thanks but, no- thanks.
