Stumbled upon this spot randomly but pleasantly surprised. Rich flavor - the pork soup pan fried buns were incredible! Wait staff was super sweet and helpful.

Super fresh and tasty Chinese food. We had the pork belly noodle soup, beef noodle soup, generals chicken and green beans with eggplant and everything was great. A fantastic option for a good lunch.

Ryan is so awesome. I mistakenly order pick up at their Fremont location, he was able to help me to cancel it although it was all made ready to go, and help me reorder at Richmond location again. Food here always so awesome amazing, plus outstanding customer service. Love this place!

Food is great and location is convenient. My personal favorite is the rice noodle and the xiaolongbao is top notch. Service is fast. Ambiance is light hearted.

First time been here, The onion Pancake was too damn good, crunchy crispy and tasty like my mom cooked at home I'm saying. And the pork rib mix noodles was good although And having a sesame ball after finished your meal to made it accomplished fantastic. Come and try!

Bright and clean Chinese restaurant right in front of 99 ranch. Really great service with attentive and friendly staff. The food was amazing! Highly recommend everything I tried especially the pork soup pan fried buns and the pork belly. Dan Dan noodles were good but definitely not spicy and numbing (: really generous portions as well!

The food was amazing! We got the pork soup dumplings, pork bao, and beef stone pot noodle soup with sichuan numbing pepper. The pork soup dumplings were very flavorful, and the pork bao was delicious. The beef stone pot noodle soup had just the right amount of sichuan numbing pepper, so yummy. The service was good and the waiter was very friendly. It's located right next to the Asian market and is nice and modern inside. We will be back again

So you know how our phones are always listening to us? Well earlier last week my wife and I were debating whether or we should get soup pan fried pork buns from Berkeley or Walnut Creek as we were both hella craving but. But the weather was bad and we didn't want to drive ourselves nor have someone deliver it so we settled for another option. Of course that night IG suggests this Special Noodle. The story/ad on IG was very appealing and i made a note that the next time we go to Costco, that we make it a point to go to Pac East Mall to check it out. Later in the week it was Costco time, and we included Special Noodle on the itinerary. Ok so here the review: Our party of 3 (2 adults and a 6. Year old) arrived around 12pm. There were 3 small Parties already seated, and we were greeted immediately and invited to choose any table. I saw the QR code on the end of the table, but before I could scan it the server handed us one of their iPads. Ordering from the iPad was easy and straight forward. Extra points to the UX guy on that app. Each dish on the menu had a photo and a complete description along with all the "customizations" you can do. We submitted 3 orders of soup pan fried dumplings, 1 order of XLB, 1 order beef wrap, and 1 order beef stone pot noodle soup. Everything we had was delicious and extremely satisfying. The soup pan fried dumplings and XLB were big and had a flavorful broth. The meat mixture inside was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. XLB wrapper was thick enough to not rip when picking it up, but not so thick that the meat, wrapper, soup ratio was out of balance. To me it was the perfect thickness (unfortunately I've butchered a lot of XLBs in the past, but even with my lack of finesse, I was able to successfully separate the XLB from the steam paper). The beef wrap was also very good, flavorful and well balanced. We also enjoyed the beef stone pot noodle soup, which was assembled table side (reminded me of table side guac experience at Chevys). Of course we ordered way too much so we packed the rest for home and we enjoyed it again later that night for dinner. Special Noodle Richmond will now be our go-to spot!

My friends and I came to dine in on a Saturday night. The place was super busy but food came out in a timely manner. We all ordered soups (beef stone, fish stone pot, and lamb stone) so we got to try each other broths and all of them were delicious. Highly recommend this spot!!!!

Excellent food find while running errands. Located inside the Ranch 99 shopping center (next to Sheng Kee), this was easily some of the tastiest fried pork xiao long bao and beef wrap around!! Food was fresh, facilities were very clean, service was great. The beef wrap basically tasted like a bowl of pho wrapped in a green onion pancake (minus the liquid of course! So dang GOOD). And the fried bao was so juicy and flavorful and a really decent size. It's a little pricier than I'd expect to pay (6-piece fried bao plate, one order beef wrap (which is actually two, cut up into a total of 6 pieces) plus a canned drink came out to about $35 (did not yet include tip)...but it was worth it that day!

Good soup dumplings, deep fried pan dumpling, and beef noodle soup. Good stop on the way to Tahoe for Tesla charging and good eats.
