This food is extremely average, not very authentic. Noodles were sour. Lumpia was salty. Pork adobo was dry. Pancit was just ok. Katsu bowl was ok.

Staff was friendly though.

Pretty good food and drinks with a pan Asian flare. The major bummer for me is they serve everything dine-in with plastic silverware and styrofoam to-go boxes. Which makes the food appear cheaper and is a total waste of plastic.

This place is a joke...they are always out of everything...noodles! If a place like this can't even make noodles, you need to move on to a food truck, because you obviously can't manage a restaurant...

Decent food but they've been raising prices consistently for the past year or so, and lie about their portions. Ordered a 14oz lechon and was only given 6oz.

Fried pork belly with the pickled radish slaps. But to the douche that stole my stuffy (Burrito), go step on legos.

I'm an Island girl, and since I've found this beautiful amazing restaurant I never stopped coming. The food, drinks, snacks and the people that work their are Amazing. Food is just like back home, and the PRICES are legit for the portion. I love everything, I can't believe they make fresh PANCIT, I would always get mines from the BAY but not no more, I can get it here at home in RIDGECREST !!!

I would give this place a better review, but frankly every time I try to go in they are closed. Kinda absurd that one of my days off they’re closed, every other day: they close before I get off work. Find myself disappointed that they’re either closed, or that the service is mid (at best). Taking off even more points for having the “Open” sign lit up, but the door locked.

Edit: I finally made it to Bahay while they’re open!!!
As usual, the wait for food that needs to be cooked is around 20 minutes. This would not be an issue, normally. However if you know the kitchen is backed up, perhaps consider asking the people in line if they plan on ordering any dishes that have to be cooked. Waited in line for at least 10 minutes (time that could have been spent starting food), while the only person in front of us had his entire face over the top of the glass guard for the food that is already prepared. I understand not wanting to confront a customer, but it’s common sense that people should be asked to respect the glass that is guarding the FOOD from people’s saliva/breath. I don’t feel even remotely comfortable eating that food, regardless of the 2nd guard. I really want to like this place since I grew up in Hawaii and the food feels familiar, but it’s not easy to. Half star for atmosphere, however a single star is the least I can give. Advice to owners: start taking your business seriously, because it does not seem like anyone here does. I miss Miso sushi.

Went there for lunch, tried the buffet, it all had great flavor, but the rice was dry and the pork adobo was half chunks of fat, and half overcooked meat, seemed like it had been sitting there for a day. It was almost too salty to eat, seemed like it had been marinating in soy sauce for a day.
I also got the chicken and vegetable dish, I had small pieces of bone, broken chicken bones, and very little meat. Cost me $22 for two entrees and rice, so I would say it's overpriced and the cook is not paying attention to his product. If you like to eat salty golf ball size chunks of fat, this is the place for you.

The buffet also had half of the trays empty, so I couldn't choose from very many options, so I assume I chose from the items nobody wanted.

Maybe I'll order something fresh next time and give it another chance, but based on this experience, I wouldn't go back and I don't expect them to be in business for long.

Not to mention they ask for a tip for handing you your food and a plastic fork. Some may disagree, but I don't think a business without a server deserves a tip.

It's been many years since I reviewed a restaurant, I really don't do this but I was so disappointed I thought I would give it a go.

I wish their hours were better, and the pistachio flavor for their drinks wouldn't keep running out. Otherwise, nice place overall for alternative, Asian fare
