This place is great! I've never loved green beans before; but now I do. We ordered their rack of lamb with mustard sauce, and had scalloped potatoes. This restaurant lives up to the French reputation of fine food. The service is superb and they devote their attention to you. The owner is present and involved. Everyone is friendly, professional, and no one is stressed out like at most restaurants. This restaurant runs like a swiss watch. Their creme brule' is very light and perfectly slightly sweet. They also serve lemonade, rasberry, and another juice. They have free refill soda. Their prices top off at $26, and the portions will fill you up. Great value for your money. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. They had a sign that said all booked up for the night. Their menu was smaller than what people posted on Yelp years ago. I highly recommend Mon Reve'. You won't be disappointed.

This is some of the best French food my wife and I have ever had, hands down! After traveling through the area from Death Valley we stumbled upon this place by chance. Me personally, I have dined at some of the most world renown French restaurants in New York and LA, and they have nothing on this place. We will always remember this place and return the next time we are in the area.

Very cozy and welcoming ambiance. Service is outstanding from the moment you enter and your name is called, to the food service and the good by. Feels like family. The food is excellent and very provincial. Portions are perfect , food is hot and presented wonderfully. The product is very fresh and homemade. Well worth the visit!!

It IS French. Not some ostentatious caricature of France or it's cuisine, but the honest, kind, and attentive soul of France; in food and service. It is an ironic outpost of the counter-transactional, in a town contrived from the desert as a transaction. It's so genuine, it feels like a phenomenon.

We were on our way to Lone Pine for a weekend getaway. I saw this restaurant is in Ridgecrest, so on the way through, we stopped. I think I just had the best French onion soup I've ever eaten. We shared a crepe dish with a side carrot salad. Definitely a 6 star meal. Service was on point-friendly, helpful. We came in toward the end of the time they were open for lunch, and the food took just the right amount of time-we knew it was made fresh, but didn't take too long. We seriously didn't expect such a great lunch on a road trip!! Merci!! We. Will. Be. Back.
