So good! A really inviting, cute & cozy environment with excellent service & super friendly staff. We had the burratta bruschetta, turkey pinwheel & everything salad. All were fresh & delicious. The owner was there and suggested some really nice wine to go with our meal & we enjoyed another glass of red she suggested. When in Rio Vista this is the place! I will be there every time I'm in the area!

Happened upon this gem while passing through Rio Vista! Andrea gave us a warm welcome when we sat down at this bright and cheery spot. Oh my gosh, the brushetta is Top 10! We enjoyed a delicious sangria and the naan with olive tapenade is amazing too! Go there!

Andrea is amazing and Ben's Friends is a cool spot for large hors d'oeuvres and great wine with friends. The spot is comfy and I have loved the vib every time I walk through the door. I brought my daughter and now every time she comes to town she wants to go to Ben's friends! Kudos Andrea for creating a great spot to hang to chat to share the Vino!

Wife and I had the ham n cheese quiche which was excellent! Rest of our group enjoyed the wrap, strawberry salad and ahi dishes. Also enjoyed a Chardonnay tasting that reflected mostly local wineries. Also the service was outstanding. Strongly recommend this cute spot!

Been here several times and love it each time. Andrea is a great host and chef. The salad with pears and gorgonzola is my personal favorite, but my daughter orders the ahi poke every time. The wine selection is also excellent, and it's a nice gathering place for Rio Vista locals.

We had poke salad with avocado and came home with peach cobbler and ice cream. Get the flight vs. the tastings; great value for the price point Andrea was an awesome hostess! We will return!

This place is a hidden gem! We stopped for lunch on our way to a weekend of wine tasting in Lodi, and so glad we did. They have a great selection of local wines, and the food was amazing! Andrea is the owner and chef and has only been open about a year. She has created a comfortable, inviting spot to sip a beverage, nosh on some wonderful homemade food, and visit with a friends or make new ones with others at the bar. We ordered the olive tapenade with naan; by far the best tapenade we've ever had. The ahi ceviche was very fresh and had a tangy ginger soy dressing, and the burrata bruschetta was fabulous. We may return for lunch on our way home, it was that good! And Andrea, who served us, was a delight to chat with and hear about her journey to open Ben's Friends (Ben being her beloved dog). We wish her much continued success and hope many more people will give her place a try and spread the word.
