came from out of town to eat here because the menu and prices listed on their official website looked good — but when I arrived, the staff told me those prices are two years old and not updated. That’s disappointing and misleading, especially for customers traveling from far away.
The food may be good, but please update your online menu so people know what to expect before driving all the way here.
Taxidermy and old photos tell such a cool story. Feels very historic and the food was great too!!

A great local spot in Rio Vista. The restaurant atmosphere is amazing with the walls covered with mounted animal busts. The bar tender was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

I have to say that this place was amazing!!!! The atmosphere was great the food was awesome and the service was phenomenal. I'm from Alabama and this was my first time in California and getting a chance to eat and experience everything and I was really blown away with how friendly everyone was and just the whole experience. I will always talk about this place and highly recommend it to everyone I can 10/10

Rio Vista a cute town, and this place is fits right in. If animal hunting and animal stuffing is not your thing, it may be best to find another diner but if you're looking for a good unique burger and great onion rings, this is the place.
The Shrimp Louie salad was the perfect way to start the meal and the fish and chips is a must try. If you're undecided on the burger, go for the Bighorn Beast Burger with fries (fries had an extra crunch to them) as it's more flavorful and not as lean as the Bison or Elk burger although the Bison and Elk burger was just as good, just on the lean side. The Onion Rings are a must try as they're fresh battered. Even though there was only one waitress, she was bustling and managed to serve everyone.

Still the best price, variety, and food in town. With almost 1000 reviews, Foster's still held at a different level than other eateries of its kind.

The future is locked up on the walls. The place is a nucleic acid gold mine. The flag tells you about the quality of bar flys inside. Woke Not and proud. Great Wedge salad, good beer. Very DEI staff. American heart beat.

Came to Foster's for the first time in 50 years. Greeted by the young lady bartender who was very nice. We had a cocktail and ordered the New York and my wife had the burger. I hate to be negative but the New York was horrible. Barely seared and zero flavor. I ordered medium and it was raw thru most of it. Vegetables were cold but the fries were good. Reminded me of the 4.99 steaks at the diners in the casino except the casinos were way better. We wanted to like it but we would never return. A $100 for a crappy steak and hambuger with 2 weak drinks was a ripoff.
