I cannot rave enough about this establishment. I love the atmosphere! They have the largest private collection of African safari animals. You feel like you're in a museum where you can eat and drink! The food is always tasty and the drinks are nice and cold. I love coming here for lunch or a late night hang with friends. The service is great and the staff is always really helpful and friendly. Fosters has a special place in my heart and always will ! So happy to see the new owners putting so much love into this business. Wishing them all the continued success!

Excellent restaurant. A true destination. Highly recommend the fish and chips, clam chowder and iced tea. Service was great. Food came out quickly and no complaints from anyone in our large party. Will definitely return to try the French dip. There is also a lovely walking trail nearby that takes you along the water, making it easy to take a stroll before or after your meal.

Cool place and cool meat but overall average food. Thought the burger would be more fancy to match with the interior.

Found ourselves in Rio Vista and always wanted to see all the animals. There definitely are many. It was lunch so menu mostly sandwiches. He ordered prime rib dip and it was a big sandwich served with quite a few crispy fries. The meat though was fatty so most of it left on plate. I had the hot pastrami, not a good meat to bread ratio but maybe because I changed to roll. Salad was great, spinach onions egg tomato and plenty of it. Service was excellent.

If you like looking at a trophy room... This place has a whole lot. Exotic animals you can't legally hunt anyone. It's definitely a must see. Nice folks and great food.

We didn't eat here, but visited to inspect the menu for a future visit. Unique decor with Lots of taxidermy examples of both African (Elephant, Water Buffalo, big Cats, as well as domestic animals: Moose, Elk, etc.).Seating for food service in back. Must walk through Bar area to access. Menu includes Elk, Buffalo, and other big game not found in most restaurants. Unique.

This is an Iconic Delta Restaurant. Only 4 owners in almost 100 hundred years. The current owner has spent a lot time paying attention to his business, the restaurant is extremely clean, the help is very attentive, the food is good and fairly priced and has a great nice clean friendly clientele.

Foster's Big Horn in Rio Vista, CA is the real deal! The atmosphere here is laid-back and welcoming, with that classic blue-collar vibe that makes you feel right at home. The menu is packed with hearty, no-nonsense dishes that hit the spot every time. Plus, the amazing trophies adorning the walls add a cool touch to the place. Located right in the heart of Rio Vista, it's easy to find and perfect for grabbing a bite with friends or family. And the service? A+. The staff here are friendly, attentive, and always make you feel like part of the family. If you're looking for good eats and good times, Foster's Big Horn is where it's at!

Pretty good food. Very spotty service. Sat for more than 10 minutes one time waiting for service, and finally left. Very expensive for the quality of food.

Yummy food and had a hunter influence on your chill spot. The taxidermy is awesome plus the environment they make. Can't recommend a better environment to party in.
