Great place. Had scrambled eggs w/avocado tomato & bacon well cooked bacon cooked just right, had ice tea which was good as well. Service was good did not get waitress name but very nice staff made sure your drinks were always full. Only one thing toast was a little over done. Go try this place. Very clean inside cute and quaint! Nice Staff and good food plenty of parking. A must place to eat!

Lunch not good. Meat loaf sandwich came cold and was not edible. I had the cobb salad. Meat was thin sliced salty lunch Meat.I assume they were having an off day by reading the other reviews. Maybe breakfast is better.Susan Lacy

We had a great breakfast. The food was fresh and delicious and our waitress was fun and attentive. I highly recommend this place. (The food was beautiful but we dug in before we even thought about pictures.)

It's a nice Diner, the diner was packed with people. We got seated right away for 4 of us. it took us 15 min before we were asked have we been taken care of. Our meal breakfast portion were small amount.We all was not feeling a good Pleasant vibe with good service from this Hwy 12 dinner as we were hoping for from the reviews and the menu.Corned beef hash with two poached eggs. Linguine and eggs and hash browns.Cheeseburger and fries, and one order of fries. Two coffees. 1 root beer. And four waters.

The food is subpar and the coffee is horrible. They seem to wash and get dishes when they're needed as well leaving you to dry them. I paid the same price for 2 different sized orange juices. The pricing is high for subpar food and service.

I visit monthly with retired friends and the staff there is the best! The food is tasty, served hot, and you never run out of coffee! Always enjoy dining there!

It’s currently 12:50 and nobody has been answering for 4 hours. I’ve been waiting outside banging on the glass asking WHY ARE YOU CLOSED WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS With no response. I am still howling and asking if I can get some pancakes. I did meet a little raccoon friend as I set up my tent. I will wait until morning to enter and get my pancakes if I have to.
I walked in and saw two men brawling over the bull while one of the waitresses egging them on. Ok, whatever, I went to sit down and asked for a coffee right away. The young lady jorgatron I think brought it out with two stains on the side. No big deal right? WRONG. I slapped it out of her hands and it got on her and she started yelling. I told her to calm down and crane kicked her into the next table and sat down again. This lady come out from the kitchen and kept meowing at me while violently waving a spatula at me. I’m not sure if she ran the place but I definitely believe she made good food. I calmed down again and began to order the pancakes. I finished them up and sprinted out the front door anime style so I didn’t have to pay the $6 and hid in the garbage can until the police stopped their search. In the meantime I met a great friend in here and he’s showing me his world of Warcraft account! What a great day to be on highway 12!

The country potatoes were jus like home. Just like cornpops use to make... And the entire staff are friendly and attentive they really want to make sure everything is just how you want it. You'd like whipped cream on a waffle? Done. Steak sauce? You got it. Like the salt shaker on left and the pepper shaker on the right... I don't know probably just move them yourself, salt and pepper shakers get moved around constantly... And even though I don't like ketchup it was nice to see Hunt's instead of the other ketchup that's everywhere.

Terrible! They wouldn’t even let me bring my pet raccoon support animal inside! I walk in and the manager immediately tells me to “get that lil trashy furball outta here” so I did the reasonable thing and went over to one of the stinky looking waitresses and tried to escort out. The manager got very loud and angry after telling me to never come back! So I left and came back in a full Barney suit so they wouldn’t recognize me, and since this is 2022 they weren’t gonna say nothing. I sit down and order the pancakes (which were delicious by the way) but in order to eat them, I had to remove the headpiece of my costume. The manager saw this and started freaking out and threatening me with a SPOON! I grabbed a dodgeball out of my bag and pelted her in the head knocking her out cold. I jumped through the window and got into my VW Beetle and peeled away. Oh well! Time to try out Highway 13 diner where I can bring my fuzzy fwiends. But man those pancakes were good

My husband I have called in our orders for the last year and half every Saturday and Sunday! We rarely get everything that we order! It’s like playing Russian roulette! The owners wife has absolutely the worst customer service! She should not work with the public! She seems to have an excuse for everything instead of taking ownership! She was very snappy and rude when I wanted too check my order before leaving! Personally I would look for other restaurants in Rio Vista! We have had it!

I would give no stars if it was possible. We stood at the door waiting for 5 minutes 2 other couples showed up after we had waited 3 to 4 minutes. We were all seated about the same time. They were all served prior to us. I tried to speak with the waitress about the situation she cut me off and got very rude. WE WON'T BE BACK!!!! The food was worse then horrible. That picture was scrambled eggs with cheese. The biscuits and gravy and chunks of flour in the biscuits.
