Melissa's Caked Goodness

I was planning a birthday meet up in Rio Vista and I searched for local bakeries. Melissa’s Caked Goodness came up. I called and her asked about options and pricing. I took a chance since I didn’t know her or her business, and she doesn’t have an actual store to taste test. The order process was extremely easy (over the phone).

I ordered a chocolate cake with a chocolate fudge filling. If you love chocolate THIS is it! It was so decadent.

Melissa doesn’t have a store front, so I offered to meet up with her at a restaurant nearby. She was very flexible.

Her communication was quick, and seamless.

We ordered lemon blueberry scones and I must stress that they are extraordinarily delicious. The combination of flavors is so outstanding that it may elicit a strong reaction, with the perfect balance of lemon flavor and large, juicy, sweet blueberries that burst in your mouth with each bite. Moreover, the scones feature a delightful buttery pastry. They are truly mouthwatering and the best scones I have ever had, without a doubt. I highly recommend ordering them, as it would be unfortunate to miss out on such an exceptional treat.

Melissa's Caked Goodness is absolutely divine! We ordered the classic cinnamon rolls for our family, and they were a hit. My picky husband said they were the best he's ever had! He cherished the last two over several days!

The Red Velvet cake is Absolutely Amazing. So moist and flavorful. Always beautifully made.

Melissa made my red velvet cupcakes for my birthday, and I liked them so much that I commissioned her for my husband’s 60th birthday cake. I had a design in mind and sent her a concept sketch, which she brought to life beautifully. No matter what the celebrant’s age or occasion, she will deliver. Made with love. (Did I mention that she will deliver your cake?)

I ordered 1 doz apple pie cupcakes. Beyond any doubt, they were de-lish!!! They were a good size but should have ordered more as people were reaching for seconds. The Pumpkin Pie was bypassed by many guests. Thank you, Melissa. You are “the” best ❤️

We ordered Thanksgiving cupcakes from Melissa and they were superb! She made vegan lemon raspberry for some of our guests and apple caramel for the rest of us. Will definitely order from her again!

My 70 year old crowd has a birthday party every Labor Day for My husband who is a HUGE KC Chiefs fan. Melissa blew this year our of the ballpark with her KC Chief “coach “ cake. Seriously!!! No one could believe it was cake. Then we ate it! Amazing and what a great desert to many great friendships!!!

Melissa made an amazing smash cake and cupcakes for my little ones first birthday! They not only looked amazing, but they tasted amazing too! She was so awesome to work with! She is so nice, and her response time is very quick! I will continue to return to her for all of our baked good needs and recommend her to everyone we know!

Melissa's Caked Goodness delivers in all ways! Melissa's scones and cinnamon rolls are fresh and delicious, with many different flavors offered. Melissa's cupcakes are fabulous, both in appearance and flavor, with melt-in-your-mouth creamy frosting. I am looking forward to ordering some seasonal baked goods soon. ❤

We have been a fan of Melissa's for awhile. We have tried everything from cupcakes, cinnamon rolls to cakes and its all so delicious. She is also super nice. I highly recommend her baked goods!

I've now used Melissa twice, going on 3 times. She made a beautiful baptism cake that not only was aesthetically pleasing, but the cake itself was AMAZING! Her cakes are so moist, rich and not overwhelmingly sweet! I highly recommend using Melissa for your next party or treat day!
