I like their Quesabirria and burritos. And the people are nice. Their pork chops are really good too!

Great place if you're passing through going to a different city. It's a good pit stop. You have to drive through main Street to find this little hole in the wall. The food is amazing and the customer service was great.Vegetarian options: Anything that you eat here can be converted into a vegetarian dish.

There was I cheese inside of my cheese enchiladas, I only could eat 1 cheese enchiladas and I ordered 4 cheese enchiladas. Very disappointed. It tasted like the wrap with just cheese on top of it . Nothing was inside of the cheese enchiladas :/ :( paid $19 for 4 "cheese" enchiladas

The food here was delicious. The service was amazing. Definitely will come here if I'm driving thru Rio Vista. The ambience was welcoming and the restaurant was clean. There was enough cheap for us to sit down and have lunch.

Cozy place to chill and taste authentic Mexican food. Family vibe - waitress is friendly. Reasonably priced and decent selection. Serves beer and margaritas too.

Taqueria Mexico....1st time there and while I LOVE Mexican food, and wife is Hispanic, going there for Xmas tamales was the worst choice! Terrible, so thin hardly any meats!!! threw most of them away and will NEVER GO BACK>>>>EVER!!!

Simply the best family-owned and operated, hidden gem in Rio Vista for a delicious, reasonably-priced meal. Quick, friendly service. Very clean with a traditional decor. Exceptionally delicious whole Pinto beans & refried Pinto beans.

Don't be taken in by the pictures -- The food looks nothing like the pictures.I see.some good reviews on here, but most of them are quite old. I can only assume that this place changed hands recently.Avoid or you will regret it.
Food is excellent. Tried 5 different tacos. Shrimp, fish, pastor, carnitas and shredded beef. Everyone was excellent. Salsa bar is awesome. Service was great. Really friendly and attentive. I'm going to stop in everytime I visit Rio vista now. Prices are fair. My 1 year-old ate beans and rice. I tried it. Excellent flavor to both. Rice was cooked perfect. 5 stars for Taqueria Mexico. Can't wait to try the weekday specials in the future.

I never write reviews but this place needed one. I'm honestly extremely surprised people have written good reviews for this place. Never coming back here again. I didn't even eat my food from how disgusting it was. Not only that but there was flies everywhere! This is definitely not authentic Mexican food. I'm honestly surprised this place is still open.

I ordered posole. And it was chicken posole. I wanted pork. Everyone knows its made with pork. And I think it should of said chicken. It was gross. And I didn't get chili or my tostadas. Never again will I go there.
