Service was great but food was not that good. Had to return 1 plate and really wanted to return both. Was hoping for chips and salsa but got none. What salsa we did get tasted like it had bacon in it. Weird and not good. Other patrons were raving about the food, maybe small town locals but being from the city, wasn't impressed.

The food here is always great. I always judge a place by five major criteria. Quality, quantity, price per, consistency, and service, they do a good job on all of that. I order the same thing and always taste the same. Just as good as the first time I had it.
A Rio Vista gem! From the time you come in until the time you leave. Great service, great food and drinks, still reasonable prices! For authentic Mexican food, there is no place better than Tortilla Flats.

I've been here a handful of times over the last couple of months and have gotten a couple different things. No complaints or critiques, its all great stuff at a good price and the staff is the only thing better than the food. If you're passing through or in a nearby town give them a try!
