Stood around for five minutes while one employee helped another customer. The entire time the other employee was doing nothing. He did not acknowledge my presence and say “be with you in a minute” or anything. The girl was busy so I give her a pass but I would fire the guy he should probably works in a morgue with his facial expressions and lack of enthusiasm. Either way fire him asap I left with nothing but wasted time

Girl with glasses up front had a horrible attitude. Not sure if it was me or her job but her attitude was rubbing me the wrong way.

Never not satisfied. The majority of the staff is very welcoming. Mud Pie Mojo is my favorite, but I prefer it with brownies instead of Oreo cookies.

I ordered a Ice crème birthday cake 12 X 18 and received a 8 X 12 the girl I believe her name was Madalynn which is on the receipt when I went in to pick up the cake told me that the cake was not ready yet cause the previous girl never finished it I said I would come back in 1 hour when I came back Madalynn told me they would not be able to get my order because it was not made and was not on the boardI asked her if she would like to see my receipt she said yes so I went out to my truck to see if I had it and I did so she finally said she could give me the cake in the freezer that was way undersized for the order and at this point I wanted to just get my cake and leave so I took the undersized cake and left but am very unhappy with cold stone employees and think she should be firedPlease call my cell @ 209 595 0825 to clear this upI completely got burned and Madalynn knows it but wants to sweep this under the rug and not give my what I paid for

Worst service ever! Thought being in the area it was in would be a good experience, but it was not at all. Employee was not friendly, engaging, or fun at all! Coldstone was my first job and I've always associated it with a fun friendly environment that the kids ABSOLUTELY love. Today, we thought we'd get that experience with our kids (since its something we don't go out and do often) and we left very unhappy with the experience. She threw almost half the ice cream she made us onto the floor because it didn't fit in the size we ordered (I get, profit and all) but did it as I was asking to put it in a bigger cup because I know the fruits make it bigger. This was THE FIRST time we didn't tip because the lack of care this employee had for making it a good experience for my 4 and 10 year old. Will stick to driving to Turlock, that's a further drive, for Coldstone occasions.

The ice cream and service is great. The hip hop music with F bomb and disgusting lyrics is not appropriate for family and children. Managers please be advised. Please change the music.

Start off by saying that the ice cream cake was delicious!!! The store was clean and attractive. As to the service, I was pretty frustrated when I ordered the cake. The gal didn't seem to understand that I was not a regular customer and I needed things explained.

No one acknowledged us when we entered. The lobby was dirty. There was a line and the boys were moving in slow motion. One boy kept flipping his visor and the other kept running his hands through his hair. We left without ordering. This is the second time I have noticed the workers touching their hai while mixing. I noticed someone else has the same complaint. I hope the management will take notice.

My review is for the service. Came in tonight -15 minutes before they closed. I walked in to a girl mopping and I apologized for having to walk on the floor, to which she rudely said "YAH, we're closing!". I then proceeded to order two ice creams, for which I was told that they wouldn't be able to mix the toppings into the ice cream, they could only put them on top because they were closing.... Umm what??? You're not closed until your closed! Do your job! In addition, they had the music up so loud, I could barely hear them. I used to work at an ice cream shop in high school and college, and I get it, it sucks when people come in close to closing, but such is life. You serve them and do your job until you're ACTUALLY closed. My ice cream woulda been a whole lot better if I didn't have to mix it myself.

The staff was nice but should have acknowledged when someone came inside. Also, the music was so loud, I couldn't hear them when asked a question without repeating.

Just wanna say that to the employees that were working 12/31/22 you guys are excellent ! Even when you guys were busy and the angry Christian man came in sooo Christian like yelling and cussing at you guys for politely asking the homeless person to leave. You employees were very professional and handled it very well.Just wanna say to that “passionate God-like” man, how about instead of taking it out on the cold stone employees, you use that energy at the next riverbank council meeting? Or instead Of handing someone $20 to pay for overpriced ice cream TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL GOOD, you should’ve bought that woman a hotel room since you were so worried about her being in the rain. Just a thought.

I don't want to go in on the workers because I understand that there's a level of kindness when you work with the service industry. There were two gentlemen tending to the counter. There was a man infront of us with 5 young kids. Here are some things that immediately made me and my partner walk out of the store last week:-The young kid scooping the icecream had long black wet hair. He kept running his hands through his hair and then used the same hand (without a glove) to scoop the icecream. -He waited until the next child ordered and while listening to her give her order, he took his hand and wiped his runny nose with it and then wiped it on his shirt. He continued to scoop icecream with the same hand covered in his saliva and snot. -As he mixed in the toppings he used his bare hands to pick up pieces that had fallen out of the icecream and onto the mixing surface and put them back into the icecream. This is honestly quite a health code violation with the lack of hairnets and gloves, and honestly just the lack of courtesy towards customers especially in this climate where we have to all be a little extra cautious. I will never come back to your location, and I encourage others to make sure that the health standards are being held up when you make your visit. Don't let them get you sick with food poisoning or worse.
