Been in riverside all my life and enjoyed Johnny's in the plaza when it came in....but now it seems it under new ownership as the receipt says Better Burgers and honestly there not meeting the standard of their name.....they have the some of the same menu items which I was happy to see my Johnny's california burger with blue cheese on it and when I received today I got almost half way thru the burger realizing there was no blue cheese in it....when asked about it they said it's small crumbles not a slice (duh bro)....I told him if blue cheese was in the burger I wouldn't be asking about....I mean blue cheese is pretty strong taste to not notice....wasn't happy with the response from the cool who prepared it...kinda made me feel like I was tellng a story....I mean why would I come in a say something....I didnt ask for it to made again, didnt ask for a refund...just wanted to make sure they were aware of how the menu items were made so it didnt happen again.....sad when people by a name of an establishment and dont follow thru on delivering the same great experience.....and on top of all that they didnt put regular cheese on my friends burger and charged them...smh

Since the Jonny’s is closed on Madison, I came here for my replacement on my bacon cheeseburger. Let me tell you, the comparison is very close to my simple bacon cheeseburger I enjoy. I keep going back for it and always. Since my basic cheeseburger is satisfying I’m sure everything else is just as good and tasty. Enjoy!
They really gave me burnt left overs of onion rings and zucchini been going here for years love it every time I’m truly disappointed

The cashier Vanessa acts like asking for more than one banana pepper for 3 burgers is coming out of her own paycheck. On top of that I paid for 3 ranches and not a single one was in the bag. She didn’t even bother to check the bag before handing it over. She wants to be stingy about giving the yellow peppers out yet stuff you PAID for like ranch didn’t even look inside the bag to check just tossed it on the counter. As a cashier it’s her job to make sure everything is inside before handing it over. And not to mention it wasn’t even busy only ONE person came in. Just plain lazy.

They started charging $0.50 for grilled onions on their cheeseburgers. I've been coming here for 15 years, this is the first time this has happened. They said these are new prices.
