Lake Alice is an institution in Downtown Riverside. It's largely ok, however, it's just too noisy and crowded to be really enjoyable, at least for my wife and I. They are a full service bar with plenty of beer choices. We were there for a special band event. The real problem is not with the bar but with the location in DT Riverside. The streets are noisy, on street parking is impossible to find, the parking structures are filthy and feel unsafe and the homeless can be seen sleeping on the sidewalks. It's a real unpleasant area. We'll probably not return.

I mean the dj was amazing food was ok basic appetizers service when it's busy takes awhile so that needs work but the band totally ruined the vibe was not a fan sorry I left

The food here was good, and the ambiance is also pretty good. However, coming from someone in the restaurant and bar industry, this place needs WAY better service. I was extremely disappointed in the servers/bartenders attitude towards me and my friends. We do look young, so that may be a factor but we provided our ID and had a great attitude despite the lack of hospitality on their part. Management definitely needs to find some bartenders with a better attitude, it's a bad look.

I go here just for the beer battered mushrooms. It comes with a Dijon sauce delicious. I've been coming here for years. I think the sauce has changed flavor wise but the mushrooms are still delicious.
Been a regular here since I moved to Riverside. I love the casual ambiance on weekdays and how things can get a little rowdy on the weekends. Also have pretty good specials for lunch. 5/5

Food was good. Service was the worst I have ever experienced. Everyone was looking around for a waitress except the people at the bar but the food was delicious. It's not worth it to go there except maybe to sit at the bar. I won't ever sit at a table there again but I will order food to take home. I have heard when the bands play it is a good time there, not for casual dining though at all.

It's been years since we were last at Lake Alice. Service at the bar was kind of hurting when we went in. Not to many people were there. We didn't have food so I am not rating that. The place did look like it could use a refresh, just not the same.
