I go here just for the beer battered mushrooms. It comes with a Dijon sauce delicious. I've been coming here for years. I think the sauce has changed flavor wise but the mushrooms are still delicious.
Been a regular here since I moved to Riverside. I love the casual ambiance on weekdays and how things can get a little rowdy on the weekends. Also have pretty good specials for lunch. 5/5

Lake Alice is an institution in Downtown Riverside. It's largely ok, however, it's just too noisy and crowded to be really enjoyable, at least for my wife and I. They are a full service bar with plenty of beer choices. We were there for a special band event. The real problem is not with the bar but with the location in DT Riverside. The streets are noisy, on street parking is impossible to find, the parking structures are filthy and feel unsafe and the homeless can be seen sleeping...read full review
