Monark Asian Bistro

Monark is fantastic. I’m no expert on Chinese food, but it seems like they have a keen focus on making traditional dishes with some fusion optionality.

The restaurant is clean, relaxing, and comforting. Please go.

Maybe the worst Chinese / Taiwanese food I’ve ever had. Lukewarm watery flavorless wonton soup, mushy wontons, terrible egg rolls. If I were the owner, I would be embarrassed at this low level of quality.

Fantastic blend of some more traditional dishes and some more Americanized dishes, just what we were looking for. The food tastes so fresh and flavorful. The steamed Dover sole and the Emperor's Choice are our particular favorites so far.

They must have a new cook. The food was tasteless and watery. There was no gravy at all just water. I have eaten there a few times before and the food was good. Now I will jot return if the quality is this poor.

Horrible , and too over priced for small portions

I’ve been to the Monarch bistro twice now, and I would have to say that the food is well prepared and flavor of the food is good. Presentation is nice the owner and the staff are all very friendly.

My one complaint would be that the prices are high, and the portions are very small

I went there three days ago, and found that the prices were much higher than the menus that were displayed here on the Internet

And the portions were quite small and less you are a child or a petite woman

As a normal size man, I could’ve easily eaten double the size portion that I received and certainly should have received a much bigger portion for what I paid my lunch for to lunch specials cost me $44 and change before tip

Walked in at 8:45 on a Saturday and host said you probably don’t want to eat here when we close at 9:30. Hopefully the owner sees this.

We ordered a pad Thai and pad see ew. The both were very oily and bland. The pad Thai also has thinner noodles.
