Food was great: fresh guacamole, beef chimichanga, pork tacos and steak tacos. All had great flavor and texture. Beautiful, freshly prepared, service was friendly and fast. Pricey, but worth it overall. We do not order floofy drinks so I cannot speak to that; we ordered draft beer, but food was high quality. Would recommend.
I highly recommend Pepitos! The service is always top-notch — the staff is friendly, respectful, and really make you feel welcome. One of my favorite dishes is the Fajita Trio — it comes sizzling hot and packed with flavor. During my last visit, I tried the steak dinner with chimichurri and it was absolutely excellent. Perfectly cooked and full of rich flavor. Definitely a must-try
The salsa is so good I wish they sold it by the jar. Everything that was ordered in my party turned out very good and I kept eating long after I was full. The staff was very accomodating and kind. They made sure we didn't need new drinks or chips or anything. The manager was also very nice and greeted us personally.

Based on the reviews, Pepitos Mexican Restaurant is an awesome, quality sit-down restaurant that is beautiful inside with original artwork. It offers indoor seating, an outdoor patio, and a bar. The food is fresh made with creative recipes and great flavor, from the ranchero burrito and quesadilla to the carne asada burrito and huge shrimp in the cocktail. The chips and salsa are fresh, and everything is tasty. The Aztec margarita has a pleasant balance of flavor and strength, and the margaritas are some of the best. Servers are super friendly, attentive, and provide exceptional service. The ambiance and music complement the homeliness. Portions are generous, and it is well worth the visit. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Riverside, it is also great for private parties with a dedicated waiter.
