I agree with everyone that the man is very rude and gruff. However, if you are lucky enough to catch his wife there, it's a totally different atmosphere. She is friendly and kind and helpful. Canyon Crest Ice Cream & Water is a popular spot known for its clean and organized environment with competitive prices. The ice cream counter is a highlight, offering premium quality options such as strawberry and rocky road. Customers appreciate the family-owned business, describing the staff as very kind and providing great service. The alkaline water is especially popular, with many customers noting its benefits for themselves and their pets. The owner may initially seem reserved or monotone, but regulars say he is friendly once he gets to know them. Despite the busy Canyon Crest Plaza location, the shop provides water refills at fair prices—$6 for a 5-gallon fill—and offers a cart to help with heavy jugs. Overall, it remains a favorite local spot for ice cream, water, and ice.
