“I had such a wonderful experience at Palenque Mexican Restaurant! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent.
A special thank you to Christian, who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely made the experience feel special. It’s clear that he takes pride in his work and truly cares about his guests.

“Came for brunch and loved it! Coffee was delicious and so was the food! My wife got chilaquiles divorciados with carne asada. I got the classic menudo it was delicious. My son is 2 and he got an egg with a side of rice and beans. Definitely recommend!“

“They might have the best carne asada steak plate in the city. It had a cheese enchilada on top of it with a scoop of guacamole on the side. It sounds weird but was delicious. Imagine the first crazy person to put Bleu cheese on an American steak; it's like that but not stinky, it's spicy and savory“

“The food here is decent but we tried it 2x after our acupuncture appt, my husband and I and it just doesn’t feel / taste super authentic. We took my son some menudo home to be the ultimate judge. He also said the menudo was plain no flavor. I didn’t clock on don’t recommend because it is reasonably priced. Service was rather slow though, my husband can drink a diet soda like I can my wine , and they just didn’t keep up with it for him. So if in a rut and need food and don’t care about flavor Ten this is your spot.“

Their English isn’t amazing but I speak zero Spanish and get along just fine. I’ve brought probably 30 different people here and everyone has just ranted and raved about how good the food is.“

“Cenaduría Oaxaqueña Donaji truly exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is set in a house with limited parking, but plenty of street parking nearby. Luckily, we found a spot inside. As we stepped under the large white tarp, we were welcomed like guests at a family gathering, I immediately felt at home. While waiting for our table, they kindly seated us next to a heater, making the experience even more comfortable. From there, we could watch the food being prepared, and it was nothing short of an art form. After a brief 15-minute wait, we were seated and ready to enjoy our meal. I tried a tlayuda for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious, loaded with quesillo, beans, and three types of meat: cecina, chorizo, and what appeared to be chuleta. The portions were incredibly generous. We also shared a quesadilla with epazote, which was just as flavorful. With those two dishes, my wife and I had more than enough to eat. To top it off, the café de olla was incredible, and the hot chocolate was simply exquisite. I highly recommend visiting this hidden Oaxacan gem in Riverside!“

“Some sketch behavior last time I was there from one of the employees (hadn't seen him there before) - paying people off the street, dropping bags behind that side door, calling people for cash - I dunno! I just hope nothing shady - don't want to be around it if so! He was friendly though and the food is still yummy!!!

Update 08/26/24: Been here a few more times... I keep intending to try other items, but that taco plate calls my name EVERY time! ;P And it never disappoints!! Different staff member this time but just as friendly. Keep supporting small businesses like this that offer a quality product, good value, and great attitudes/customer service!

Let me start this out by saying, I am picky about my meat!! I usually will try a carne asada taco & maybe beans/rice at a place, as a test item to see if I'll order more and go back.

Tacos here are meaty and have great flavors!! Not chopped up gristle & fat either but pure chunks of meat and each taco is generously stuffed! Staff are extremely nice and hard working! I'll be craving these and now I have to go back to try the chile relleno burrito!!

I got a generous taco plate w/ 3 (fat) tacos (beans & rice), Mexi coke bottle, and left a tip, all for around $20.

“came here for the first time last night because I just opened a tow yard close by and the place seemed to be poppin. was a awesome choice. pulled in and the lot had classic cars and low lows parked outside. that was the first sign that it was meant to be. ordered fish tacos and they were bomb! wife ordered flautas for the babies and they had cheese inside. apparently they were amazing also. the salsa bar.... every salsa was very good I had to have all of them. good vibes! was leaving and a guy was walking to patio with a burrito the size of a football no lie! will be a new spot for the family for sure!“

“Seen the Taco shop on TikTok decided to try it out. I bought a chili relleno burrito and a shrimp taco. My wife bought a carnesada burrito.
The food was very good i drank a pepsi, and the wife drank Jamaica everything turned out perfect. Not much to look at, but the food is good. We would go back there again. Good show TikTok“

“We stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon. We were seated quickly. Our server was very pleasant and we received our meals quickly. I had cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. My companion had the chili rellano. Everything was delicious. My only complaint, other diners were quite loud, it was hard to have a conversation.“

“If you're looking for authentic Mexican food in a great setting, Cielito Lindo is a must visit. The restaurant is spacious, very clean clean, and wait times are very reasonable. The staff provides excellent, attentive customer service from the moment you walk in.
Prices are right on par for Mexican dining, with most entrees averaging between $10–$15. The absolute highlight of the meal was the Molcajete (~$30) it was packed with flavor, generously portioned, and did not disappoint in the slightest. High quality food, great atmosphere, and fantastic value overall. Highly recommended!

“This place is pretty good . We had the fish taco meal for about $13 dollars . Came with rice and beans . Let me tell you the tacos were piping hot and fresh 10/10 . They will bring you lemons and peppers witch I have to also add the pepper was seasoned, now that was a game changer , I spilt it open took the seeds out and I lace it on my tacos 10/10 . We also shared 3 rolled tacos . It was also good but I will add pretty expensive but definitely worth every penny . We used the chips they gave us as nachos with the green sauce they have and leftover beans rice and other leftover veggies . All in all a perfect meal .. I complemented the chef cause if the food is perfect the chef should know . Oh and horchata taste like Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk . 10/10 but no refill . Only juices are free refill . Next time“
