Restaurantji's Corona guide: Where to find the best Mexican flavors. Try the best Tacos, Al Pastor, Menudo, and more in town.
“We've been going here for a while to have breakfast and used them a couple times for catering as well as having dinner here. It's a quaint little building and if you're not looking for it you can drive right past it because there's no bright shiny flashing lights, just a simple "Eduardo's" sign. It's a small family run business where the kids and parents work there and are very nice and hospitable.Just as an FYI, when you come here for breakfast you can actually order just about anything on their menu if you're not in the mood to have breakfast.Everything I've tried and my family have ordered has been great. Their portions are generous and prices are really reasonable considering everywhere you go to nowadays have been raising their prices.Their complimentary chips (freshly made by the way) and salsa (also made fresh) are worth it alone! I love their salsa, I could simple just eat that and be content. But if you do choose to order some of their plates you will not be disappointed.Their super burrito is seriously no joke, HUGE. My son who can pretty much put away most dishes can only manage to eat half and opting to bring home the other half to eat later.Really enjoy eating here.”
“Staff was super friendly and the tacos were really well made. The best tacos in Corona. They come on double tortilla, individually wrapped in a parchment paper and topped with an avocado salsa. The meat is crispy and well flavored. Aguas frescas available. Might have some of the best Mexican food in Corona. So good”
“Great food with an unexpected location in a strip mall in Corona. Choices like lobster enchiladas, mole, and handle guacamole. The street tacos are decent size with plenty of meat and less filler. Great selection of tequila including a few additive free choices.”
“This is my favorite mexican restaurant in California. The owner and staff are friendly and provided excellent service. They make their food with love; the salsa is loaded with flavor. I always get the chicken tostada salad. My husband ordered a grilled chicken burrito with red sauce. Chicken was very juicy and savory. Food 10/10!Prices are very reasonable and food is quality.”
“This is your typical Mexican food restaurant. Same things as you would find at any other, nothing that would stand put as being a great place to eat. We did get a 30% Veterans discount so that was great!Dietary restrictions: They are gluten friendly.”
“Love this place, it was my first time the place it’s small to eat inside only 3 tables but they have plants outside but in 100 degrees for its too hot to eat outside. The food had good flavor we order the menudo con pata and birria combo which is the meat rice and beans and consomé . Would definitely go again not to expensive for the food size and flavor.”
“Cool little spot for real Mexican food. I ordered the 4 Taquitos special and it came out pretty loaded with veggies and guacamole all for a super good price. The people that run the place are very nice and friendly just it was hot and I was sweating a lot because I ate the good carrots & peppers!”
“My 3rd time dining here and the reason I returned was the amazing service and the delicious variety of dishes. The staff is very friendly and the decor is inviting. The noise level is a bit loud but possibly everyone is talking loud to compete with the music. The drink selection is also nice. Overall would give 5 stars!”
“We ordered the Birria Tacos and the al pastor plate. Both had a lot of flavor and good portion for the price. The restaurant was clean with limited seating. The service was good and we received our food fast. Definitely try it if you are in the area.”
“Open late. awesome gluten-free option food is fresh made you can taste the love put into the food great portions also. Wish id take a picture before . This was enough for two and still had leftoverParking: Easy parkingDietary restrictions: Gluten free options”
“What can I say - nothing but good things about this place. The only thing I would ask is to not put hot food in plastic - or use plastic around hot food - it is not safe and that is my only concern when buying food here, but otherwise love everything here, and hope it shines more!”
“Amazing quality, good portions, at a fair price. Restaurant staff are very friendly and accommodating. The ahi was so fresh it disappeared before I could take a picture. My daughter's loved it as well. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving FRESH POKE!Kid-friendliness: That owners were very nice to my daughters.”
“So my pet peeve is tha act of ordering some food how u like it, and they dont follow those requests. That said, i got 3 shrimp tacos, 1 order of quillequilles with asada n 1 Fresh OJ 2 GO $47.00So overpriced.Beans were cold, rice not tasty.Overall, triqxee not approvedI went off online reviews n unfortunately it did not live up to tha hype”
“FIRST TIME GOING AND FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. WE GOT CHILAQUILES, TACOS DORADOS AND LA PISTOLITA. LADYS THAT WORK THERE PROVIDED GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR , SPEACIALLY (Maria Teresa ) she was our server! Thank u Teresa for you're attention and service. Highly recommend this place.”
“It is located in a corner of a small plaza.Decided to just try it out.Ordered some tacos.Combo of 4, because we thought they'd be small but was surprised by the portions, which were huge on two tortillas, so it's basically 8 tacos. All meat was nicely seasoned. The horchata was great.”
“Specialty tacos are incredible!! Homemade tortillas, lean & tasty meats that have their own flavors, salsas with perfect balances of heat & flavor, ample portions, and they packed everything to-go perfectly (with all needed utensils and accoutrements) without having to be requested.Any of the taco ingredients could have been enjoyed on their own - they were that good! Sometimes when you have tacos, all you can taste is the general meat itself or just the salsas (which isn't a bad thing), but we tasted these meat filings separately and they actually had amazing flavors on their own - which only enhanced the tacos!! Love the Taco Flight btw - you get to sample of a handful of their meats, but WAY MORE than just a taste - tacos are huge & delicious!!Music was a little too loud inside, to where it's a bit difficult to even order and probably causes mild deafness later (lol) . But the playlist was awesome and the place definitely carries a fun vibe!! We will go back here and try the other items on the menu - although we might just try more of the amazing tacos - and maybe enjoy a seat on their patio. We were already craving more tacos the very next day! So glad we found this place... we just might become regulars now!!!”
“I literally grew up in this place as my mom was a cook here for many many years on and off...the chicken enchiladas are ? ?...and if you ever potluck and dont want to cook my life saver 40 tacos 20 carnitas and 20 asada my coworkers from orange county drove out here for the tacos. The owners are long-time family friends and im always happy to visit when im craving some tacos”
“Got menudo and it was delicious. The portion was pretty big, but ordered takeout so not sure how much you get if you eat in. Also have to make sure if you want your menudo with hominy and pig feet or just the meat and caldo you have to let them know.”
“I was recently introduced to this place. A co-worker had recommended it. It's exactly what it is a hole in the wall taco shop. The food is good the quality is is good nothing is is the best out there it's just downright good food. They're beans however are off the chain! Now whenever my family and I are having tacos for dinner I always call this place for a tray of their beans and rice it's as close to my mom's homemade rice as I'm going to get without having to make it myself. Which if I don't have to make it myself it saves me time I've got kiddos so time is of the essence. I definitely recommend this place if you're ever in the area their food is good.”
“Hands down best street tacos I’ve ever had. Workers were nice and helpful! Great homemade salsas too. It is inside of a liquor store so it’s more of a takeout kind of place, there is seating if you want to dine in as well! We did and they were very nice”
“Sadly to say, but the drinks are better than the food. I recommend the "Skinny Margarita". I've been there three times, and all three times was disappointed with the food. Great atmosphere and music in the outside dining area. I have a ? therfore reason for sitting outside. I appreciate it being a pet friendly establishment.”
“Good meat at the carniceria I bought some pollo para Asar and some dried chorizo. The chicken did not need salt or anything usually most places you gotta add salt and garlic to the chicken but this one was spot on. They also have got foods and homemade tortillas. I will be back and it's meats are definitely better then the trendy carniceria el rey that everyone raves about. Gracias”
“restaurant doesn't look like anything special from outside or the inside, a simple little place but the foot is actually very delicious! I recommend the Menudu and pozole, both very delicious and they make it every weekend to my knowledge. Portions are large and they always make sure to give you the appropriate condiments. Tacos are tasty and sopes are too. It's a little mom and pop shop but you will not be disappointed.”
“Stumbled upon this place by chance, but it was a pretty good find, the chilaquiles are legit the most delicious I've had at any restaurant, as most don't make them spicy enough. Will definitely stop by next time I'm in the area. It's a very small place, so it might get crowded when it's busy, but lucky for us we were the only ones there at the time, although we took our food to go, but the service was great, and the staff was super friendly!!! Not the best picture, as I had mixed in the cheese, sour cream, the eggs and avocado slices that topped it, before I took this. But it was so good!!!”
“We got Sanchez tacos for our school golf tournament and we are so thankful to them! From the beginning they were attentive and very helpful with everything. They answer the phone and emails promptly, if I had a question, they always answered it. Very professional and nice staff. They made our lunch sandwiches in a box with chips as requested. We needed something easy for the golfers to have in their golf carts. Dinner was rice & beans with Chicken fajitas and steak picado. Food was delicious and flavorful. They provided salsas on the side; spicy, medium and non spicy also as requested. The food was a hit, all of our golfers were very pleased. If you hire them, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Sanchez Tacos for helping our school fundraiser. Hope to have more events to reach out again.”
“The food is good, takes awhile but it's cooked to order. The portions are good and for someone that can pack it away, that's good too. As the name suggests it Mexican food. I always have the #3 combo. It's a taco, taqiuto( did I spell that correctly) an enchilada with beans, rice and chips. Try it, you'll like it.”
“Food was delicious. Very authentic, I always base a restaurant off their Mexican rice. I have to say it tastes very similar to homemade. I purchased the molcajete. Very tasty . I ordered the "ceviche divorciado" it was delicious. The service was ok. She was understaffed but not busy enough to where she couldn't refill the table drinks. It took her awhile to bring our table service. I would totally come back. Nice little hidden gem out in Corona”
“First time here and lemme tell you. When I walked in the aroma from the food just overwhelmed me with the deliciousness they were preparing in the kitchen. I would recommend bringing cash for no extra charge or if you choose card it's a .85 cent charge ...Customer service is amazing. I don't know if it a husband and wife but the lady was absolutely adorable definitely will be coming back to this establishment”
“This is a nice place to enjoy the atmosphere please keep in mind it is loud so if your seeing a quite place not here this is loud and positive vibez type of place, the food is great the service is great and very friendly waitresses. Highly recommend any of their drinks they are perfect and great prices.”
“Had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant many years ago and had the camarones al mojo de ajo. It was amazing and I've been on the hunt everywhere else for something as good. Never found it until I visited the same place last week! The shrimp is wonderful and fresh, and the garlic is plentiful. This has got to be my favorite dish from anywhere. It's a shame I live in Texas. The service was super quick and the staff is very friendly! Definitely go try them out!”
“Classic corner taqueria. Authentic food, with great portions. (The Horchata is the best)Kid-friendliness: Local restaurant. Hidden gem that hasn’t been found by the masses.Parking: No issues. Never seen the lot overly full. Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Well designed area.”
“First time here. Sunday day after Veterans Day. When we came in we had a big party I think maybe 14 people. Other tables were large parties also. We had a choice of a brunch from the menu or menu service. I just ordered from the menu. I ordered a Carnitas wet burrito served with beans and rice. Plate was serve attractive and my burrito was very good but it was too much for me to eat so I brought the rest home. Menu prices are a little up there but I feel if you're going have a party for a birthday, anniversary or some party this place would be good for that. When you walk in there's a bar right in the middle of the restaurant. Service was wonderful and very organized. They bust the tables as you were eating so you wouldn't have dirty glasses or plates on the table. We all had a wonderful time here at Luna's. I recommend this placeWheelchair accessibility: Lots of room for wheelchairs fine I'm grading”
