“Ok so this is a review for a particular visit and not this location and establishment overall. The experience was significant enough for me to feel compelled to do this despite the understanding that this isn't the generally accepted and common usage of reviews. So, this temescal rd carls has been hit and miss over the last 20 years I've been visiting it. Mostly just ok with a relative slightly above average when comparing to other locations. With that being said I'm of the opinion that food serving establishments product has went down the tube's in comparison to that of 20+ years ago. This could be a not necessarily accurate "personal" perception issue or an accurate in reality across the board issue but that is here nor there. This reviews is to express my amazing almost time traveling threw taste and eating experience that I really have only come a slight inclination of experiencing before. I made my famous star"no cheese' combo with onion rings and cherry coke order on the app and proceeded to drive thru to pick up. When I got to the window I pardoned myself and asked the girl if she could possibly assure that my onion rings where cooked well because I had received undercooked ones on the last few visits. I was given my food and my stomach decided I would park and immediately eat my food. I do realize that this(my hunger and immediate consumption could) have a significant influence on my experience but with that said. It was great. I was a kid again devouring what at different times could be accurately described as my favorite fast food. The burger even looked the same as years gone by(with the exception of the split top bun which they adopted several years back) with all the condiments including mayo and ketchup-relish in the perfect proportions the onion rings where almost unrecognizable when compared to those recently encountered. Cooked perfect and if I didn't know better I would be suspicious of them being sliced from whole onions dipped and dregged in store. Anyways the whole experience was too good to not say(write) something. For the record I've had some not too great luck at this location once or twice and before this if you asked me about carls I'd respond with meh or what are my choices? But this experience has me very(hopefully not too) hopeful for the next time I find myself with them as a choice or option.“

Instead of telling me to go away, the girl working drive thru told me to go ahead anyways and they would take care of it. I tried paying at the window but they insisted on hooking me up. With California raising minimum wage to $20 an hour fast food has become too expensive unless there is a special promotion. Unfortunately I think the result will be fast food restaurants will begin to close locations as customer demand drops off due to increased prices.“

“Didn't go in just drive through. Everything was good no issues with any of our food. The lady was kinda and courteous gave us extra napkins and utensils for our chili fries and chili dog. I got a orange cream shake it was ok but I think that's just me I wanted to try it and I prefere the root beer float but it wasn't bad. Just preference! Over all good experience no problems!“

“Okay so let's start bad too good , in my opinion it does kinda take awhile too get your food and it is kinda pricey depending on what you get but if your gonna complain about the prices just don't buy it ! But the best thing is their chili cheese fries. its my favorite thing to get their ! And the workers are super duper polite . It's close too my house and that's why i go their a lot because it's the only close good food place near my home too walk too apart from albertos and little Ceasars, and when I feel down I can come here and get my favorite item and feel a bit better ! “I think this is a good story I went in the morning to have breakfast with my wife we were sitting outside and a homeless man came up on a bicycle ask for some money and I didn't have any and I said would you like my sandwich are you hungry so I gave him my sandwich and then the staff from the restaurant and gave my wife and I complete meals again I guess because we help the homeless man I thought that was great and very heartwarming and what a good place“

Staff is always respectful and polit. Food is always hot n fresh. Never had a bad experience here.

“It's been almost 2 years since my last visit due to the heavy construction on McKinney. But I was awarded with staff that knew what a double decker taco was. The younger generation doesn't know about this great taco as it's been off the menu for years. Well it was a special made beef burrito with two sides: extra beans spread on a flour tortilla and them wrapped around the hard beef taco. One of my all-time favorites.“

It's not quite in the worst part of town but it's not in the best but it's definitely nicer than you would expect especially for being. Parking: It shares a parking lot with a diner and can get pretty packed during busy hours. They're right across from a Walmart parking lot so you can find spaces but you do have to walk across the parking lot road

“I think Juan was stoned. I ordered a chicken bowl, wife ordered a tofu bowl. When my number was called there were two chicken bowls. I told him one was supposed to be tofu. He charged me an additional 16 cents even though he wasn’t listening when the order was placed. Waited additional time for tofu bowl. Then he failed to give me any sauce. I didn’t realize the sauce was missing until I got home. Had to eat bowls dry. Pay attention Juan!“

They didn't have the pineapple shakes, but ordered the meal and had a chocolate frosty.

Honestly, the burger didn't have a special taste to it. That was sad. The burger tasted like their usual burger. Nothing special about the fries.

I did try dipping my fries in my shake and eating them. That was new and tasted great!

“wendy's breakfast menu is definitely my favorite when it comes to fast food restaurants. only my most recent visit i order their 2 for $3 special and get the egg and cheese biscuit and a sausage biscuit for my 2nd option. their potatoes are my favorite and much better than the hash browns from other restaurants that taste like they've just been sitting in oil or grease soaking it up. i also enjoy the vanilla frosty flavor in the iced coffee and it's a perfect breakfast for me. on my last visit there was no parking and i could see that they were busy inside but luckily the drive thru was empty and i placed my order and received it very quickly.“
