Ooka Sushi & hibachi steak House

Food is good atmosphere is cool. But not enough to get me to ever come back. The customer service and professionalism are horrible. We made online reservation for a birthday dinner. Two times they called us to push time to an earlier time. Only call us a third time to cancel our reservation 3hrs before we are set to arrive. Leaving us to scrabble to find a different restaurant. We tried to explain the situation and they weren’t very sympathetic. They couldn’t care less.

Food was good but this place needs a good cleaning. The entire edges where the windows are where very filthy. Looks disgusting.
The chef we had was great.
I hope the kitchen is cleaner.

During our initial visit as a family of four, we dined at one of the non-hibachi tables. The meal was delightful, and the service was satisfactory. Upon receiving the bill, I observed that a gratuity had been included, which I found unusual ,but did not question it as we were pressed for time to attend a movie. On our second visit, however, no gratuity was pre-applied to the bill. This led me to wonder about the discrepancy. In the future, I will certainly be more attentive to and inquire about the details of the bill.

Always a good time, I'm not a particularly picky eater but I thought the food was very good. The chefs are always nice and do well with the kids. The wait staff in general are very attentive. The place is always clean and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

The show was wonderful, being exciting, fiery 🔥, funny and fast-moving.
The meats were excellent, being tender, moist, and flavorful. We had steak, chicken and huge, wonderful scallops. The fried rice was tender, flavorful, but had a little too much garlic in it for me. But every chef or meal can be different.

Food was not enjoyable at all. Lobster the size of 1 giant shrimp, steak was refrigerator cold inside, fried rice tasted like pancake syrup.
Entertainment boring and service gets a fail. We had a party of 2 adults and 1 child, and they charged a gratitude fee automatically, which is unacceptable.
