Pretzels near Riverside, CA

“It seems to be a toss up whether you get a good one or not. Obviously a fresh one would be the best case scenario but perhaps you’d just have to get the timing lucky. The first time I had never tried a pretze place like this before and I tried the jalapeño pepperoni one and it was FANTASTIC. The second time I visited I got another one which was clearly older and had been in the warmer too long. But for a place like this I think it’s about what you’d expect. Unfortunately I can’t justify the prices, but perhaps that’s just 2023 for you. Use the rewards app, you get bonuses and stuff!“

“Ordered my pretzel downstairs from Dulce. She is an excellent worker at Auntie Anne’s. She’s friendly, fast, and always professional. Even during busy rushes, she stays calm, gets orders right, and makes customers feel welcome. Big contrast to the managers upstairs. Will buy from her again if she's available.“

“Pretzelmaker is so underrated.

I’ve had Auntie Anne’s and Wetzel’s Pretzels but nothing compares to Pretzelmaker. What stands out is that Pretzelmaker soft pretzels are fluffier and lighter, and have a better overall taste IMO. They are what I describe as “pillowy goodness” and they always come out piping hot!

Pretzelmaker is located in the lower-level of the Moreno Valley Mall next to Macy’s. Pro-Tip: Park in the lot between the Macy’s and JC Penney stores. There’s an entrance that leads you down a corridor closest to Pretzelmaker.

Because the pretzels are made fresh to order, there is a bit of a wait time. But the wait is always worth it.

My favorite items to get are:
* Mozzarella Stuffed Pretzel Bites with Pepperoni (buttered, Unsalted)
* Pretzel Bites

The lady (owner, maybe?) who’s been making the pretzels does a fantastic job kneading the dough and making these delightful bites!

And — shhh —- they are the perfect treat to take inside Harkins movie theater (in your purse, of course). Much more satisfying than popcorn!
