Great sushi, excellent service! We had birthday and the staff made the party with disco lights and cake with candles! Thanks a lot.

The sushi was very delicious and the place was clean, with friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor dining is available and they have an all you can eat option at times. The staff informed us that gratuity is automatically added for all dine in customers, but if you pay by card, there is still the option to add a tip, which I'm sure confuses diners. Especially those that have had a few adult beverages. ?All-in-all, this is the best place I've been in IE/Riverside and I will definitely be returning.

We visited this place Easter Sunday and will definitely be returning! The service was so fast, they got our orders out within a few minutes.vThe all you can eat is definitely a good deal. Don't forget to try the green tea ice cream also, so good!

This establishment has the absolute worst customer service! I tried to eat here for my birthday, but waited nearly an hour after I got to the door.Even then, I couldn’t sit with my family, while I watched dozens of customers with similar party sizes to mine (6) sit down and eat before my family and I. The representative at the door was rude and it did not seem like he wanted to be there. He had a lackadaisical attitude and took no pride in his work. We decided to not wait more than an hour, even though they said it would only be “12 minutes” multiple times and leave to another restaurant that had the same amount of customers. We were seated there almost immediately and enjoyed our sushi.Fast forward to today, my wife and our family tried to eat here for her birthday. A customer service representative was extremely rude and raised his voice at both my wife and my mother-in-law. When asked about his manager’s information, he said there is no manager there and that he had no supervisor there. When asked when his manager was going to be available, he further raised his voice and said he didn’t know and his manager has no phone number to be reached at.This establishment used to be a great place to eat with my family but is now a far-fetched reality of what it used to be. Don’t come here unless you want to be treated disrespectfully, waste your time, and leave with a sour taste in your mouth. Save your time and go to Joe’s Sushi Japanese Restaurant where the staff is extremely friendly and will sit you down and have you eating before you even make it inside Sushi Asahi. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. As that isn’t possible, 1 star will do. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!

The sushi is alright. Some rolls were better than others. The Caliente roll was really good. The seared tuna was good as well. Ordered a handroll, and it was sloppily made. They place so many toppings and sauce on the rolls that you can barely taste the fish. All you can eat for around $35, whole meal for two was $85. 15% mandatory tip for service that is a little mediocre. Was seated outside, and it was not the cleanest area. I understand that it is outside, but at least sweep and dust, maybe have someone wipe down the areas before their shift and before your patrons sit. I was asked to move out of a table, in case a bigger party came. Every table outside was empty, so I didn't understand why we needed to move. It was a bit cold, they might wanna invest in some heating lamps. Also, maybe not keep your to-go supplies cart right in the front near your patrons table. Looks tacky and unorganized. I think I might give it another try .. or maybe not. Others might like it.

Food is so-so. For two, lunch was $55We asked the staff to turn down the music 3 times. Listening to loud rap with all the cuss words, including a line about pu$$y, is not my idea of appropriate dining out music. Not a good place for kids.
