Highly disappointed. The first time my family and I dined here, the food was very good, but the service was horrible. I assumed they were overwhelmed and didn’t want to complain. Fast forward to today—my husband decided to give them another chance. We were greeted by a young lady at the front who was helpful and had a great attitude, which was a promising start.
However, we ordered 8 rolls (all you can eat) and only received 4. We waited patiently, watching a party next to us get all their rolls—even though they arrived after us. I eventually had to inform the server that we were still waiting, and to top it off, they had forgotten some of our rolls.
It’s frustrating to see such inconsistency in service. I really wanted to enjoy our meal, but this experience has left us disappointed again.
Vegetarian options: They have a wide selection for no rice rolls

I ordered takeout on a Friday night. I paid $22 for 10 pieces of nigiri. Portions were really small and the food tasted okay. It’s probably my least favorite sushi I’ve had in a while, but maybe they were having a bad night?
The bigger, more problematic issue here and the impression they left me was that they do not take allergies seriously. I had to send back two rolls because they had avocados. I told them THREE times (twice while ordering, and one more time after ordering) that I’m allergic to avocados.
Almost 30 minutes later, my order comes out and there’s avocados in the rolls. It’s upsetting to wait that long for a relatively small order, but what was more upsetting was seeing how TINY and unappetizing the rolls looked for $20.
One of the staff member was super apologetic though and he waived the mandatory 15% gratuity (yes, this also applies to takeout orders), so I guess there’s that.
I paid for the nigiri, picked up some Wienerschnitzel across the street, and called it a night.
Dear Taiyos, if you’re going to charge $20/roll and charge mandatory 15% gratuity on all orders, pleaseee do better for your local customers 🥲

I have visited this restaurant before, and the food and service were really good. However, my last two attempts to eat there have been disappointing.
On both occasions, I arrived before 10 PM. The first time, I went to takeout, but they told me they had already closed. The second time, I went with my wife for dinner, so we made sure to arrive by 8:30 PM. To our surprise, they informed us that they had already taken the last call for orders. The waiter tried to ask the chef if we could still eat, but they ended up arguing. At that point, my wife and I decided to leave.
It's frustrating that they close at different times than what is indicated on their website. We ended up going to Joe’s Sushi instead, which turned out to be a great choice. The food there was excellent, and the service was very nice.

To whoever reads this, this place is not that great.
Terrible customer service , lazy and no communication. The environment was horrible. The food was not satisfying, it was poorly made. We got all we can eat and we just did 1 round and did not want to keep going. For the people that wrote good reviews is crazy, because it’s not a 5 star restaurant. Overall not a great experience there, I am very upset.

Husband just went to pick up poke bowls. NO more poke bowls! As of 8/9/2024 no more poke bowls. Love this place. All servers are great! Sushi chefs are amazing! We have lived here about a year and this is our go to!! Try AYCE or poke bowl to go. It's all great!
Great food, especially for 1/2 off rolls Monday through Thursday. However, minus 1 star for automatically adding gratuity for a party of 2 without including that info on the menu.

Not enough rice. Too much anime music.
Pretty good food with plenty of variety. They have lots of standard options and robust selection of deep fried tempura rolls. The nigiri had decent portions per piece. The Oishii was a refreshing and tasty option with its cucumber casing. I'd recommend trying it even if no rice rolls aren't your preference. Service was present and responsive. Atmosphere includes lots of soft warm lighting, and what I think was a jpop/anime playlist playing on the restaurants speakers at a low but noticeable volume.

So.. the fish on and in the rolls seemed fine as far as fresh flavor. But the rice used in the rolls was extremely mushy which is concerning because a sushi restaurant should know how to make sushi rice and personally I do not know how to make sushi rice but neither does this place.
We were seated on vinyl booth seats but for some reason they were covered with floor mats. We thought maybe they were trying to cover some tears in the vinyl but possibly those floor mats were dirty and thrown up to get them out of the way.
Service was lacking but she was new so it's understandable.
My sprite tasted like the soda dispenser has not been cleaned in many years. And that shouldn't be.
So.. owners... get the Rice consistency correct.
Have servers be polite and overly helpful when possible.
And most importantly and this goes to ANY restaurant! First and most importantly above all else CLEAN! If you want to run a successful restaurant you can be busy you can fail at mushy rice once but never ever EVER allow yourself to be in a position where someone can say your restaurant was unclean. Ever! And your restaurant was Fillthy.
Close your restaurant for just a few days and thoroughly clean it. Then try again.
You and your customers will be so glad you did!
