I’ve been going to the Sub Station since 1981!…they’ve been since 1972, that’s 53 years!!!…Richard Munio, the owner, is still “hands on” working with his crew on a daily basis!…Definitely the best sandwich shop in the Riverside / Canyon Crest area….Great sandwiches, Great prices and Great service.

I've been going to the Sub Station since my collage days 50 years ago, and I still go out of my way to stop by for a sandwich whenever I get the chance. Their Hot Pastrami is the best ever! There is nothing like a sipping a cold beer while waiting for and enjoying your sandwich. And, I've been there so often over the years for take-out, I have their phone number memorized...the sandwiches are that good!

The staff and the owner of this restaurant are the best. Each time I go there, I am greated with respect and enthusiasm. And I forgot to mention, THEY SERVE THE BEST SANDWICH IS TOWN!!!
Today I decided to go there in celebratation of my birthday and casually mentioned this to them. They did not let me pay for my order! And when I got back home and opened the sandwich, I saw the cutest note inside. Thank you for making my day. You guys are special 🥰
