Would highly recommend the chicken & waffles it was delicious I'd definitely return for that dish. The biscuits and gravy were also a favorite. I would recommend the tots over the rosemary
Had a late breakfast here with my family earlier this month. My wife loved the Bloody Mary and my son liked the French toast. The pancakes and chorizo Benedict were just OK. The staff is friendly and the portions are extra large… it would be very hard to eat it all. Given the fact that it is breakfast food, it is very hard to reheat.. I understand why restaurants serve the large portions (so they can charge higher prices) but it seemed that a lot of food goes to waste. Would recommend you share your meal.
I found this little gym on Google, enjoy the beautifully prepared screwdriver and bloody Mary along with some of the best eggs benedict over tater tots I have ever had! Also try to buy it of my fiance's biscuits and gravy the gravy was perfectly seasoned and had a real at home country flavor! Dog friendly we sat outside with our pups all in all phenomenal experience for a Sunday morning breakfast ?
Good food. Good service. Angel food cake french toast with strawberries and blueberries. Lots of food
Delicious brunch place with a great atmosphere. They have a healthy tots craze and offer unique twists like their angel food cake french toast!
Ok so I'll start with the bad, The service was slow on coming to take our order, I get that they were busy but it was long enough I started to wonder if there was a confusion about who was taking it order so maybe everybody thought somebody else was already doing it.Once the order was taken the service was impeccable, I'm really picky about my beverage being kept full, that's like 50% of the tip score for me. I never once had to ask for a refill, she noticed from the start how fast I was drinking it and she was there before I even noticed I was low with the refill. She checked in on us multiple times, but not excessively. The food was amazing we had the mom's fave as a scramble, unfortunately for review purposes we both wanted the same thing. I will probably try it as an omelette next time just for fun. It was the most delicious breakfast I've had that I didn't make in a while. The angel food French toast was delicious, I might ask for it to be brought out later next time and maybe extra whipped cream.
Waited approximately 15 minutes to be seated but not bad considering it was the day before Mother's Day.Different choices for breakfast dishes that I had not seen before.Food and service was good.Does not take reservations.
Great place with a creatively inspired breakfast plates and parred back lunch menu. I had the Tater-Tata. Very fresh ingredients layered on top of a black bean spread with tots on an “egg” tortilla. Delicious and tasty with the fresh lime and jalapeño on the side. The eating utensils need to be updated to match the quality of the food.
Oh my goodness, so good. Every single plate I saw being served here looked amazing (including mine!) The barnburner knows what they’re doing. You can tell the restaurant is run by people that really care about it.
Great brunch place! I’m used to the crazy long waiting times and poor service at brunch places in the Bay Area and at Barn Burner the wait was not only shorter than expected but they would have coffee outside for waiting patrons. Once we got seated the servers were friendly and attentive. The food was also delicious. We ordered the chicken and waffle special, angel food cake French toast and omelette, all were good. I’ll definitely be back!

Best place I have had breakfast since moving to California
We had good food and great service at Barn Burner! They have interesting and unique brunch items with several traditional options available. Their bottomless mimosas (Friday only) were great with a lot of options to choose from. They have a dog friendly patio and even have a dog menu! Lots of tots on the menu too...definitely a top brunch restaurant in the area!
This is definitely one of my top 3 favorite breakfast places in Sacramento. The waiters all always friendly, food comes out relatively quickly, and it always tastes good! Definitely will be coming back again.
Place was nice, staff was friendly. I had chicken and waffles. The flavors didn't go well together and the main dish and the home fries were dry. I'm not opposed to trying again but would recommend a different dish.
I’m a Paleo diner, saw it was Paleo friendly. The options were limited (they have pancakes which I’m not fond of). They also have grass-fed burgers and some sandwiches as long as you bring your own mayo. It was really good though, I’d go again.
