Recalling the Tastes of Godavari If you ever want to relive the rich and authentic flavors of Godavari cuisine, you must try the Rajahmundry Chicken Biryani at Biryani’s and Chats. I visited with a friend and it was truly one of the most flavorful and memorable biryanis I’ve ever tasted. Kudos to the owners and the chefs for their dedication and passion, they’ve perfectly captured the soul of Godavari in every bite.

Our first time trying this place. I know its pretty popular in the area but its always a bit of a drive for us. We had an appointment nearby so we finally tried it.
Food was great and has a very authentic taste to it. Might be too spicy for littles (because it was for our girls who really love Indian food). Meat on the dishes was so tender, overall the dishes are so full of flavor.

Our first time here and all 4 of us loved it. We tried several dishes; sambar idly, vegetable dosa, palak paneer, lamb biryani, an eggplant dish and butter chicken. We'll definitely be back!

My family has been enjoying this restaurant since it opened. It is amazingly consistent and delicious. We are from Santa Clara/West San Jose and are very familiar with excellent Indian food throughout the Bay Area. I find the claims regarding food poisoning and service not credible. If it were an issue, we certainly would have shared this experience based on our frequent dining during the week and weekend. The family operating this restaurant are sincerely vested in a quality dining experience. Yes, there are other restaurants that have a more luxurious setting, however, we are more interested in cleanliness and quality food. Also, the location is very convenient for us and the prices are very reasonable.

The menu had dozens of things I'd never seen before, and all of the the things I tried or outstandingly delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and explained the things I didn't know about to me.
I was visiting Rocklin for a wedding and I never expected I would find something that would make me consider driving 3 hours out of my way, but this restaurant is doing exactly that. I want to go again. What an amazing hidden gem. 🌸🙏🫰

I have tried their food many times. I love the food here. They have the best Samosa in California. The portion, taste, price everything is perfect here. They are HALAL too. Today I tried their chicken tikka masala, Ambur mutton biryani and chicken Rajamouli biryani. Like always they did not disappoint me. Rajamouli was good but Ambur stole my heart.

We came in to the restaurant because of delicious food that is served here, we were aware of rude server, but we experienced it today. The server lady not to mention was pretty Rude, didn’t take our order nicely, didn’t say anything to us but was pretty ignorant. Handed us empty glasses, check the cameras if she offered us water? Handed us our food and asked us if we needed anything else. And that’s it. The whole ruined experience. And also maybe the food service people should tie their hair we didn’t get any but was afraid we would. The owner should really take a look at this behaviour unless they don’t want to ruin their reputation among customers. The food for the reference was again amazing, we might come back for the food but not for that arrogant server lady.
