Food was super yummy! Good amount of food for the price. I was able to take leftovers home. The bbq sauces were all yummy. They have great local beer on tap. It was super clean at the tables. The Gm came out and made sure everything was going good multiple times. You can tell he really cared about the product. Definitely worth going!

So I went here with a friend and our kids. The place seemed very open, not too busy. When asking the staff at the register about suggestions for kids on their kids menu she really didn't have any ideas.I then asked how big the sliders were, and she described them to be small, about the size of a White Castle Burger slider. So I ordered two for my son. My son however didn't like the sliders with just meat, cheese, and ketchup, "his request."The wait staff didn't seem too worried about of the customers liked the food or not, but they were quick to get us boxes when we were ready to leave.I unfortunately don't forsee myself going back here.

Let's start with the fail. This is not a BBQ Restaurant, this is a meat restaurant that has barbecue sauce that it serves. None of the meat have any form of smoke drinks that you would associate with barbecue. The good is a food still taste good and the service is still exceptional. Minus one star for the lie. Minus one star because I really wanted barbecue

Went to pick up an order, I arrived early and decided to have a cocktail while I waited. Moscow Mule was DELISH. The food is so good, meats are tender, sides are flavourful, ....onion straws....not my fav . Maybe they're cut thin for the Dine in eating ?. Get oily and don't reheat well (airfryer , oven, or microwave) could do without them.

We bought food from here a few weeks ago; for the price, quantity, and quality, not worth it. The food was cold and the texture felt rubbery. When I called the store and asked for a manager I told him that I would take the food back as we did not eat it. The manager told us not to worry about it and the next time we came they would discount our food. We told them, with due respect we'd never go back there for food again. From there they proceeded to tell us there would be no refund. The service was good. The two lady's at the front were super welcoming and helpful.

I've always been a fan of Buckhorn's, whether at the mall or Midtown or in Folsom. I had yet to discover this location in Rocklin but now we're regulars! So yeah, I'm on a diet and I need to eat meat! As far as restaurants or fast food, my options are slim! I thought of Buckhorns and although it's been a good minute, I remembered how good they were! I order their Tri Tip by the pound and I kinda cheated by ordering the beans and salad! But it was all so worth it! lol Their bbq beans are so good! I love that they added lima beans. The chicken was good. Since we don't frequent Buckhorns often, on my first visit at this location, the cashier added me to a loyalty app. I thought it might be worth it since we're on a diet of eating meat. I came back within a week and we ordered the Tri Tip, bc it was so damn good! I tell Taylor the cashier I have a Rewards App and she tells me I get a free offer of Tri Tip bites! GTFO! That's like $13 for a free app! Sweet! So...come here, get the Rewards App and get some delicious food and drinks!
I've been to this location at least 3 different times. Yesterday, I ordered a Mocktail w/tri tip burnt ends and slice of cake. The cake is delicious but felt tips were underwhelming in flavor. But what really irritated me was spending $8 on a Mocktail that was basically combo of water combined w/carbonated water and fruit coloring.

Mmmm haven't had American BBQ in a second so we came by for lunch :) I got the roadhouse buck, which came with a hefty amount of ingredients on top (the bleu cheese caught my eye). My boyfriend recommended their mac and cheese so I gave it a try. Our food came out pretty fast, you place an order at the counter and choose a table to sit at. The restaurant itself is roomy with indoor and outdoor seating. I really liked how they have a self-serve area with sauces so that you don't have to ask. That's a dream for a sauce girl like me and helps a lot if your plate doesn't have much flavor. The sandwich itself was super good, I feel like the roadhouse onions added a nice crunch along with the creaminess of the bleu cheese. The tri-tip was tender and tore off with each bite. It was really yummy. The mac and cheese was great, it came out hot and I liked how creamy it was. Super good spot to have a bite at! :)
