Good food, but not great food. I like char broiled meats and they use open flame.

Good food, good service; but I think they should have more authentic Mexican dishes and traditional Margaritas š¹ š
A little expensive, but the serving sizes are okay.

Food is awesome. Some favorites: Chile Verde, Shredded Beef Enchiladas, Chimichanga, Carne Asada Crispy Taco, and Churro. Always good guac. And you will love the Red Salsa if you like a little spice (true spicy lovers will probably think it's mild, but delicious).

I went here for my birthday last night with my family of 4. We never agree on a restaurant and all loved everything! The service from the beginning to end was amazing. Our food was out so quickly. All of the food was amazing. The chips, the super burritos, the chimichanga, the tacos and the steak quesadilla were what we all ordered along with the rice, beans and churros. No complaints from any of our picky critic family which is unheard of.
Everything tasted so good and fresh! They even surprised me with a cream caramel cake with a candle and that was really good. We will definitely be back! It is the best Mexican food we have found in Placer and Sacramento County!

This is a nice place for lunch. The food is good, the price is good, and the atmosphere is homey. It's not a fancy place, it's a nice place for comfort food Mexican style!

I love good Mexican food and Cafe Delicias doesn't disappoint. My friend and I used to come here all the time.. Like 30 years ago.
Well my husband and I were out and got hungry.. Lucky for us, Cafe Delicias was on the horizon. This place is as good as ever. They have vegetarian options along with traditional dishes like albondigas and Pastor Verde.
This place is the real deal

It's going on 50 years eating at Cafe Delicious. The Owner is a great big hearted person. The staff of server's and chef's have equally large warm hearts. I have changed after 25 years from Vegetarian to Carnivore (eggs). They are very good about changing up the menu items to make me a special plate of Meat & Eggs (fried or scramble).

This was our first time here and what a great experience! It was like going back in time and walking into a traditional family-run Mexican restaurant in the 1970s and 1980s. Simple fresh ingredients in a simple, clean and friendly atmosphere. Very generous portions. My tacos were filled with freshly cooked hot shredded chicken, ice cold shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes and melting cheese. The beans and rice were freshly cooked and very authentic and the beans (clearly not from a can) were smothered with melting bubbling cheese. The salsa picante brought to your table with a basket of crispy chips is mild, delicious and clearly made fresh, and the lightly spicy house-made taco sauce was excellent. My daughter had huevos rancheros and they were probably the best sheās had in recent memory. If youāre looking for a fancy āupscaleā experience with a giant tequila bar, TV screens, loud music, a party vibe and āmodernizedā Mexican food, this is not your place. If you are looking for a filling homemade old-fashioned Mexican meal in a simple, quiet and clean restaurant, you will not be disappointed. And yes you can get an ice cold Mexican beer (among other things) to go with your food if you like.
