They have the worst service and that's from multiple visits. The food is not any better either. We kept giving them a chance because it's locally run. But no more. It's super expensive and horrible service.

Uniquely and fun decorated Mexican restaurant with great food. Enjoyed "the rock" and some margaritas. All three proteins cooked wonderfully- tender and tasty. This restaurant boasts over 100 types of tequila!

Visited this restaurant recently and was not impressed. There seem to be only one server and they appeared to be overwhelmed. Chips and salsa did not taste good. Drinks took a while to arrive. Food was bland. Outside area looked unkept. Unfortunately will not visit again.

Amazingly good food!!! Definitely recommend the food. A little pricy though. So if your looking for something a little cheaper better find another place ")

I had a local recommendation for this place - the average rating is off so I discounted the people who do very few review numbers. They tend to not have much experience with the platform or dining out in general. That said this place is a gem! I tried the happy hour chicken tacos and a HH margi, rocks. Very good (they use Los Altos Tequila) very simple, low dough HH food and drink ($6 each) The salsa and chips were good but needed more heat, they brought me a deep red (chili de arbol style) salsa that was smooth in texture and Smokey HOTT! Very good. I told the server Mole is my favorite and she brought me a sample of that - one word AMAZING MOLE! Can't wait to come back and try the Mole Chicken! Also had a Chile Relleno and a Chicken enchilada, both had very good flavor - the Chili Relleno was small, but flavorful and very fresh - a 5 star first time experience. Suggestions: Don't serve old lime garnish with your drinks (see photo) and $8 for an ala carte enchilada is a bit steep. Normally I would subtract a star for the price, and old garnish. But I want to help elevate your score because of some of the obviously bogus reviews that have been left here.

-0 I really want to say -0 it just didn't have a selection for that We went to Cha - Cha's Cocina Mexican restaurant in Rocklin to have an early dinner before heading home in the elk Grove area. Service was Awful, only thing more awful than the service was the food. Nothing about the food was authentic.nobody checked on us ,I had to flag down a server for napkins, chips and water. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant at 4:45pm No one ever came back to see how our food was nor did they come back to see if we needed another beverage. The restaurant is extremely dusty unfortunately we will not return and we will tell other friends that have inquired about Cha-Cha's restaurant of our service or their lack of. They even had a child sitting at the bar ( which no one seem to have a problem with ) with what I could only assume was the child's father. I truly believe the only reason why this restaurant is still afloat is because of their geographical location. I doubt very much this restaurant could sustain say in San Diego or South Sacramento. Unfortunately we will not return lesson learned.

My wife and I were disappointed mainly by the poor service but honestly the food was not that great either. Food was very bland and chips for the salsa tasted like the oil was old or bad. Server was friendly but took forever to get drinks out (and was after several people sat at the bar about 5 mins after we sat down) Never checked up on how we were doing after the food was brought out. Too many great Mexican restaurants around here to come back.

Service is a bit slow as only 1 person was working the bar and the diner. I try not to be mad at the one person that showed up to work.Food was good. Portion size is large, so when you see the prices of some of the menu items be aware that most the menu can feed 2 adults if you're following 2k calories per day.

This in fact has to be the absolute worst food and customer service on the whole dang planet. The last time I ate here, was the last time. The owner is absolutley the worst piece of garbage ever. We were treated horribly by her and the food was terrible. We waited a very long time to post this review. I was trying to be sure I was being fair. However enough time has passed that I am actially being kind. DO NOT EAT HERE. We were overcharged ignored. And took forever to get our food. The customer service is horrible and so is that shrew of an owner. If you do go here good luck to you.

We had lunch yesterday at Cha-Cha's Cocina Mexicana. Very positive experience ....... great atmosphere, service, and food. While checking out the menu, we started with the Guacamole Rock. This consisted of avocado, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, Oaxacan cheese and a touch of garlic. This was a tasty meal in itself. It was plated beautifully. I ordered the Taco Salad with Skirt Steak. The flour shell was crispy and layered with refried beans and spring mixed greens. It was topped with Oaxacan cheese, tortilla strips, salsa fresca, guacamole and sour cream. It also came with a fantastic mango sauce. My lady tried the Tortilla Soup. The broth was classic with a touch of pasilla chile in a tomato base. It was served with fresh Oaxacan cheese, sliced avocado, tortilla strips, crema fresca. There was an abundance of shredded tender chicken breast. She loved it and was reluctant to share (ha ha). I recommend this restaurant and will return soon!

Was surprised that this place didn't have better reviews for the food. It was decent and was pleasantly surprised by the house made flour tortillas. Felt bad for the servers because they were running (literally), tending to a very busy weekend crowd, but still managed to give us great service with welcoming attitudes. I had the chicken mole. I grew up having a more chocolate-y version but their spicy version was really good. And my husband enjoyed the carnitas very much.

We tried to support this restaurant during Covid and have had a couple of decent meals, but no more after today. Our meals were so salty we couldn't eat them. The restaurant is dirty and all the iron works she has packed the restaurant with are so dusty and downright dirty. This place has become a dump inside and out. Very overprice even if the food was good. Never to return.

We all love this restaurant!!! Even though we moved 30 min away we still manage to hit up Cha Chas a couple of times a week. The ambiance is so relaxing and always a great place to take pictures. Martha is the best!!!

My Family LOVES coming to this restaurant. The atmosphere is calm, decorations are love, staff is hard-working and quick and the food is DELICIOUS! I ordered the carnitas taco plate and guacamole appetizer. So good, I was sorry I couldn't finish it all. The kitchen were short of people and that didn't prevent them from making me a fresh & Delicious meal. As for the wonderful lady that greeted us, took care of our order... you are AMAZING! I believe you may be Marlana as printed on our receipt. You were helping and taking care of all the tables, front entrance, and even the bar. Thank you for taking such great care of us and all the other people that came to visit your restaurant.
