This spot is such a gem and Edwin is fantastic! Im impressed that he remembered my name and order after just one visit. Great coffee and delicious homemade, unique pastries. I'll definitely be back every time I'm in Rocklin. (Hours are incorrect on Yelp, I have suggested an edit. Check google)

Edwin and his mom are absolutely incredible. They've been running this place since 1995!! It's just the two of them now. I could feel the love and passion for their business and customers after a short conversation. Long time coming, so I always start with a house drip. To my surprise, Edwin roasts his own beans!! The roaster is placed in the front of the shop for proof. You can bring your own cups (BYOCUP)! House drip is yummy. He recommended I try both the light and medium roast. Ended with Colombian. It's incredibly fragrant. I'll have to come back to try some baked goods! All of his moms hard work goes into their freshly made baked goods. 10/10 service, flavors, and all of the above. Parking is fair in this small plaza! Dog friendly!!! There's a beautiful shaded patio for small groups and inside there are chairs and booths for customers.

I was excited to try an independent coffee shop in the area, but was disappointed. I don't drink coffee, but had some tea. It wasn't bad and the staff was friendly, but the ambiance was awful. There was dust everywhere and sticky floors surfaces like they hadn't been cleaned in awhile. The furniture was also extremely worn and dirty looking. It felt dingy and uninviting. I understand a small business struggling, but it just didn't look like they were proud of the place.

A charming local coffee spot that appears to be run by a mother son duo. They are very friendly, the coffee is delicious and so are their assortment of pastries. There's no set coffee menu, but with the variety of syrups sitting behind the counter and alternative milk options they can pretty much create anything you want.

If you want actual coffee shop vibes, not instagram vibes, this is your spot! The place was fairly crowded mid-morning on a weekday. There is a decent amount of seating, and it felt very homey and welcoming. Edwin was working and was so nice! There is no menu but I asked if he could do a matcha latte with oat milk and he said yes. I was a little nervous to order it since it seems like he does coffee so well, but it came out really good and almost...citrusy? Surprisingly delicious! I also ordered a bagel and cream cheese which is super basic, but just what I needed. I think I made a mistake though because apparently the pastries are homemade (say the other reviews on here)! This was my first time in Rocklin and the only food/drink spot I visited, and I was not disappointed.

This is my boyfriend and I's absolute favorite place to go first thing Sunday morning. Very unique and homey. The coffee is so different, it's delicious! I'm not even a major coffee person and even I crave this place's coffee. So grateful for this hidden gem!

Fantastic coffee, the freshest I've had anywhere near Sac.Pastries are all home made and phenomenal. Delicate flaky crusts and home made schmear.

I'm such a fan of supporting small family businesses and nestled into the quite town of Rocklin is this hidden little gem of a coffee shop. From the street, you would not think anything of it. In fact, there's nothing special about it from outside and you could easily look past it. Inside the coffee shop is where you experience the magic . The first thing you'll notice is the sincere smile and warm hospitality received by the older gentleman that takes your order and makes your coffee. He was the only one in the shop at the time but I read that his mom makes the food which is so special to me. You can always get better service, quality drinks/food straight from the owners themselves because they take pride in their business. You could easily go to a larger chain, be in and be out; but why not be part of the community and support the hard working people who help make up our communities!

Ed makes the best cappuccino around. Each cup is a work of art. The best selection of freshly roasted beans can be found here.

Anything you get here will be fantastic. I have never been to this coffee shop and had a drink or pastry that I didn't love. The old school ambiance is cozy and I'm happy to support local and avoid chain coffee shops. The owner is always so kind and anytime i'm able to stop in I make it a point to do so. It's the kind of place you want in your neighborhood and you miss it if you leave. It never disappoints!
