GK Mongolian BBQ

I came in on 3/3 and after one of the crappiest days (just one of those days, where NOTHING goes right). They didn't know this, of course, as I try to not let my bad days show (it's not their fault my day was crappy). While waiting for my food to be cooked I asked the manager (Bsau I believe) why they don't have all of the sauces as the other location in Roseville on Douglas (my usual spot). Anyone who eats Mongolian BBQ knows that it's hard when you get your favorite concoction just right and then something is missing. He and the cook went in the back and made sugar water and got some vinegar for me. They put it in my bowl before the cook did his thing, and you guys, it was SO GOOD. It's the little things that make a difference, and his willingness to accommodate me seriously turned my day around. They did not have to do that... Above and beyond. Thank you both <3

Great Mongolian experience. The only downside is the bathroom cleanliness and this is sometimes a peek into the overall cleanliness of the food experience. Both available bathrooms were destroyed to gas station levels.

I had a disappointing experience involving the server (Beverly) and the chef, as I was overcharged and they refused to refund me. When I requested to speak to a manager, she said that none were available and that management only comes in twice a week. I will NOT come back.

We went for lunch on a Saturday. Wasn't crowded. Staff was friendly. Food was good. It does take practice to fill your bowl without making a mess. I'm not sure the price difference for dinner but lunch was reasonably priced.

This specific site was one I began going to back in the 90's. It was always the standard which I rated other Mongolian BBQ's. The last time I went here was a couple years ago because I normally go to the one off of Douglas Blvd. Now unfortunately, it is one of the worst. Many of the ingredients were gone or simply missing. It was dirty and all of the liquid ingredients were down to the last few spoon fulls left. The garlic and ginger only had water and a few pieces floating around. No lamb, no water sugar, no spicy sauce, barely any spicy oil, no cilantro, no egg rolls, only one small cup of rice for both of us and only one wonton for both of us, etc.. The lady was working her butt off and I'm very grateful for her, but she can't do everything. To he candid, after I got my food cooked, I'm worrying about food going bad or cross contamination from meat to vegetables. I'm really saddened by this specific site because it used to be thy best and now I don't ever want to come back.

The guy was making a to go order. Puts on gloves to grab the raw meat. And proceeds to go to veggies or produce and use that same glove to grab the produce. Cross-Contamination and asking for bateria to grow. Then uses the same glove to grab ladle to put sauce in the bowl. He needs to be re trained and to never do that again. Wont be back here again.

Had such a bad experience through door dash…… suuuuper small serving like ridiculously small amount for a dinner plate that was 20$ and some kinda sad

Everything was fresh. Friendly service. Good atmosphere. We went on Sunday around 530pm and it wasn't too busy. They kept buffet area pretty clean. Will be back for sure
