All the things you expect to find for breakfast/brunch. Relatively good value compared to some local alternatives. Friendly people and clean aesthetic/decor.

Great family place! Portions are definitely doggy bag worthy. Favorite spot in Rocklin

This small Cafe resides in a Rocklin strip mall on Granite Drive. Walk in to a bright and airy premise and you begin to smell the delicious food they serve. Their meals come out of the kitchen quickly, well-cooked and flavorful. The servers are efficient and friendly. Open for breakfast and lunch, this Cafe is one of three restaurants all owned by the same family. Be sure and give them a try soon!

They charge $4.99 for a cup of hot water and a tea bag. Way out of line.

This is the best Breakfast spot.
The only Benedict worth my money. Homemade hollandaise sauce is what makes it special.
Truly great food and Heather, my server is always happy to be there. You can tell she truly loves her job and worker at HOTG!
If I could come every week I would.

I would give Hot off the Griddle in Rocklin a zero star ⭐️ if I could. I have never had to leave a restaurant because of no service. We waited way longer than what we were told initially. Once we got in and sat down no one came to ask if we wanted any drinks/water. When we first sat down there were plenty of tables open but the staff were too busy filling the tables with customers than asking if we wanted drinks/food….I noticed we were not the only ones without drinks and still waiting as well. Because we had such a long wait to be seated we already knew what we wanted to order but unfortunately that never happened. No one ever came to even take our order. As we got up and left I told the waitress sorry we are not waiting anymore… her response was “have a nice day”! This place is not organized, not enough staff. (We saw only 2 waitresses)
Definitely would not recommend or be returning. Wish our experience had been different.

Holy hell, what a crap show this place is. Seated and ordered ahead of 3 tables, yet all 3 of them received and ate their meals while we still waited. The service was god awful. After waiting 40 min we just walked out. Never again will we eat at that circus. Zero stars would be a more appropriate review. How this place stays in business is a mystery, especially considering its located in the same town as Four Sisters.

It's hard to find good places to eat when traveling, as you don't always know the area or good places to stop. Decided to take a chance and stop by here for a quick bite a month ago. So glad I did! Did it again today to fuel up my bones with some of their awesome breakfast! Their pancakes and bacon are full of flavor. And OMG the coffee is the bomb. Nice little outdoor patio on beautiful days such as today. They are the most friendly and polite group of people! Will be back again when passing through!

Great breakfast/lunch diner. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's a bit noisy inside and difficult for conversation. Hard surfaces and a lot of people plus music that is a bit too loud. Their homestyle potatoes are excellent! The right mix of potatoes and onions and cooked perfectly. Good service also. Prince range is a bit expensive for breakfast with most dishes in the 19-20 dollar range but they do have smaller plates for about $13. A soda will run you $3.50 there which is a bit steep.

Been here a few times now and haven’t disappointed. I’m a sucker for eggs Benedict and their H.O.T.G. Benedict is awesome! The wife really likes the French toast. Heather was a great server and the rest of the staff was friendly.
