Great tasting sushi! loved my roll. I got very full eating here and only had to order 1 roll. Never had that happen before. Quality is great. Miso tasted good, not too salty. The interior is very small.

The food was delicious, with a great selection to choose from. The service was friendly and efficient. I tried the stuffed jalapeños, Volcano roll, and the Kevin roll, all of which were excellent. The spicy rolls had just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavors. I’ll definitely be coming back.

wow this place is actually the worst sushi restaurant there is. i have seen bad and this takes the cake, unacceptable. I would rather eat a moldy cheeseburger from a dumpster than this garbage. Their sushi should be considered a legal weapon with how bad it tastes. Worst thing I’ve ever experienced. not to mention their horrible customer service, absolutely unacceptable, they are speaking gibberish and yelling at you to repeat your order over and over again, then when your food gets to you it is all wrong and nothing i ordered. This place is a dump and i am never ordering from the place again 🤢

This place use to be great. Their customer service is horrible now. We ordered via telephone and they gave us the wrong items. We asked them to go over when we picked it up. They said it was all there. When we got home, the order was incorrect. We ordered 2 beef yakisoba dishes. They gave us a chicken yakisoba. We called to see if we could get a refund. They asked us to go back to restaurant to rerun transaction again. We're not going to drive 20 minutes (40 mins round trip) back to Rocklin to fix a transaction they can fix over the phone. Horrible customer service. It's too bad, they blame their mistakes on the customer. Never going to go back. Good luck with this place.

Since moving to Rocklin, it’s honestly been a bit of a struggle to find restaurants that really hit the mark for me. I’ve tried a handful of spots, but nothing’s really stuck—until now. This place might actually be a strong contender.
First off, the portion sizes are no joke. You definitely get your money’s worth, and then some. I ordered the tempura, it was crisp, flavorful, and didn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. You can tell they care about how things come out of the kitchen.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. For how packed the place was, everyone was super friendly and genuinely accommodating. You could tell they were hustling, but they still made the effort to check in, smile, and make sure people were taken care of. That goes a long way for me.
It’s rare to find a spot that balances good food, big portions, and solid service—especially when it’s busy. This one might just become a go-to.

I honestly can’t say how amazing the customer service is. Not only do they make amazing food and deliver it fast, but they remember you. I don’t frequent ichiban, but I will now. I went in and for no fault of our server, the ability to pay by credit card was down. She gave me the bill and when I asked to come back and pay she said it was ok. Who does that these days? I left with the bill and returned the following day(today) to pay. It gave me another chance to have a great lunch. She took things off the bill because I had to come back and pay. I made sure everything was put back on the bill and I am happy to pay all of it. They went out on a limb and trusted me. As I left she said she would see me next week. I now have a place for sushi I will return regularly. It isn’t about the food, which is great.
Customer service is what will keep me returning.

Got a to go order of 4 rolls, each around 15 to 17 bucks and sadly didn't like any of them. Could just be personal preference but we got the Alex, caterpillar, 49er and Lassen Peak.

this was my first time eating Japanese food, as far as I know, definitely my first time trying sushi. we tried three plates and shared and it was delicious! I got the 911, and we got a volcano, I think, and I can't recall the third plate that we shared. it was delicious! unfortunately, there is no low carb option. The sushi is overwhelmed with salty rice. overall this is unhealthy food but I can't argue with the flavor. definitely not for someone on a low-carb diet, like me. but I made an exception for a date with a lovely lady. Don't get me wrong, I will return to try something else, but this is not a go-to for me because of the high carb rice.
