Everything was amazing. Service, food, drinks. Top notch. This is my new birthday supper place.

First let me say in order to write this review, I had to give less stars so it will be noticed (because it should be). The food was delicious. We had a party of 8. Between us all, we tried many dishes. Schnitzel dinners(with and without mushroom gravy), Schnitzel Sandwiches, Sausages, Pulled Pork, Sauerkraut, Salads, Potatoes, etc.... Honestly the food was super good. We ordered a really good huge pretzel (30.00 + dollars!) to share. 1/2 of it had salt on it and the other 1/2 had Sesame Seeds. All kinds of mustards and a warm beer cheese in the middle. Very good and a great appetizer to share. The prices were a little on the expensive side. The beer was enjoyed. Here is where the not great part of the review comes in. Our server was Joseph..... He was great! We were there for my sons birthday. We brought a 3.00/box mix (funfetti) cake in that he's loved since he was little. It's almost a joke now because he has to have it every birthday (he's a grown ass man now. lol) The server Joseph comes to me and says they have a cake cutting fee; am I okay with that. Keep in mind my bill was $400.00! I immediately said "no". He was embarrassed about it but was just doing his job. He said his boss (I'm assuming was Kathrin?...she never came to our table) makes him charge it. So here we are, very happy customers, just spent $400.00 dollars in her restaurant and she wants to charge me a $10.00 cake cutting fee? We brought our own plates, silverware....we asked for them to do nothing and to risk a bad review for such a petty policy; it's ridiculous. Well Kathrin, we loved your food but these 8 adults won't be back. This is just principal at this point. I hope the $10.00 was worth it.

I would give 11 out of ten stars if I could. The food was incredible. It actually brought a smile to my face. The Reuben was the best thing I have eaten in a long time as it brought back many memories from my time in Germany. The server was fabulous in every way except by tricking me with his accent which was a fun game. The atmosphere was rustic and authentic. I appreciated the relaxed seating and the lack of noise which allowed me to talk to my husband without having to raise my voice. I would come here again and am planning to come back soon.

Came here as a pit stop on the way back home from Tahoe and this place did not disappoint. The pretzel here with beer cheese was so good!! I would come back here just to get the pretzel to be honest. Service was good and really fast, but I think that's because we were there in the early afternoon on a Saturday and it was mostly empty. It was easy to find parking because this place is in a plaza with a big parking lot and they have a huge beer garden outside area that I bet would be really nice once it starts getting warm. Definitely stopping by my next trek to Tahoe.

Reminded me of Munich's biergartens! Nice to get some 1L pours of the go-to German biergarten beers in the US.

We love this place, food is great, awesome beer selection, great for kids and service is always on point. It's become our quick go to dinner spot! It's also a small family run business which we love to support.

Tried the 9 sausage platter shared among 4 of us and we were not disappointed. Our server recommended the types of sausages and we got to taste different varieties, all excellent choices. Andouill was my favorite if you can handle spicy. Overall great experience as this was my first time visiting here even though I have lived in Rocklin forever.

This place is perfect. I went here for lunch with some work friends. I loved the music, the wait staff, the food, and I even liked the one IPA they had (they have a bunch of German beers but I am not right guy to comment on those). I thought the staff was the perfect combination of attentive, helpful, and chill. We got the sausage platter where you get 2 pretzels and pick 9 sausages--great for sharing. And the dessert was pretty amazing too.

The potato pancake was horrible. It was all gummy and with zero seasoning. The atmosphere was pleasant. The inside restaurant was messy and they needed more wait staff. We won't be visiting again.
