Whatever you do, do not order the Chicken Sandwich, it is slimy, stinky It tastes like it's three weeks old tasteless the bread is disgusting. Got this from DoorDash went straight to the trash. Never again.

I've been coming here for over 20 years. Today I came and ordered a combo meal of salad/sandwich. The turkey changed. It was thick and slimy and slid out of my bread onto the table. My Chinese chicken salad had chicken that tasted like it was made the day before and the dressing had a very odd taste (almost like molasses was added). I will say the service was awesome as always. Needless to say I won't be back anytime soon just because when I spend money I want tasty food.

First off, when did they stop making their fabulous muffins??? Second, when did they turn their establishment into just a storage facility? Food is not bad but pricey. I don't get how this happens. Makes you feel like it's unclean. This used to be a great place but I won't be going back!

Came here for lunch to meet a friend last week. I always look forward to la bou for their creamy tomato bisque. Unfortunately, I believe they have changed the recipe for the soup. It used to be my absolute favourite tomato soup. I will have to find something else I like. But there are tons on the menu. The house salad was still great and my friend enjoyed her Chinese chicken salad (not pictured). I love to order their dill dressing on the side to dip the bread in. I will continue coming here for the friendly, fast service and healthy and tasty food.

Definitely not as good as I remember. I had a half Chinese chicken salad and half a baguette delivered. I asked for no celery or cabbage and the salad was literally all cabbage. The bread was hard and there were about 3 slices of chicken. Very underwhelming for the price.
This is not the La Bou I've known and have eaten at over the past 30 years. I've eaten here twice. The baguettes and croissants are not the same as other locations. They don't have the delicate crispness on the outside with airy moist on the inside. Just bread. The service is like they don't care or can't be bothered with you. Won't be going back to that location. I know Folsom location rocks!
Not like the LaBou I remember, pretty lackluster. The staff was nice and greeted us when we entered but the lady that grabbed out pastries from the case did so with wet gloves that she was wearing when she came from the back. She kept the same gloves on through the transaction, answering the phone, and when she went back to make the sandwich we’d ordered.The food wasn’t anything exciting. The croissant was overproofed and underbaked. Got an egg, bacon, cheese sandwich as well and it seemed like it was premade then tossed in the microwave.Probably won’t be revisiting this location.

Yesterday was the first time to this eatery! The ladies behind the counter were top notch in customer service. I ordered an Asian chicken salad wrap and did not realize there would be peanuts. Anyway I took it back up and she made me a knew one same thing just no peanuts and the dill sauce with it was amazing. I did buy the second wrap again, though I think they would have changed it out without a problem. I was giving the other one to my other daughter that was coming to meet us there so we could give her bday gifts.We also had a book club meeting in the back room after my other daughter left and our book club friends were all there! Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and the Thai iced tea is the bomb if you are ok with sweet. The flavor was awesome and I had mine with almond milk instead of regular milk.Awesome people yummy food!Thank you ladies working 6/24/2023!?

Where is La BOU? I’ve been to. The place was dirty, the atmosphere was lacking, and the food was sort of thrown together. I feel it was over priced from when I got.Don’t really recommend this particular restaurant.Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options.
