Red’s Pizzeria & Taphouse

It’s a small place except a wait BUT the food was phenomenal. I had the beef meatballs and they were delicious. I also had a margarita pizza also very tasty every thing is cooked in a wood fire oven. I will 100% be going back.

Out of the many pizza places in Rocklin, Red's is two steps above. Their quality is unmatched. They use a wood fire oven and use premium ingredients for all their pizzas. Their side of Fuego sauce is very interesting and delicious as well. One of my favorite pizzas is the Spicy Blue. You really can't go wrong visiting Red's .

I’ve never been to this place before and my friend took me and right away we were greeted with a friendly smile and fast service, our food was absolutely delish, their wings our hands down the best wings i’ve ever had and I have a chef in my family and the buffalo sauce is a MUST. Not to talk about the pizza which was impeccable and the chef was so very sweet and asked us how our food was and wished us a great night, 10/10 would recommend this place!!!

Solo date night after a day of shopping and coffee shop work. I was greeted by the hostess with a smile and was given a couple of options for seating. I opted for a high table, which the hostess wiped down before seating me.

They were pretty busy, so it took my waiter a few minutes to get to me but when he did, he made sure I was taken care of.

I got the potatoes for my appetizer and spicy hawaiian pizza. The potatoes were really good and I was surprised how well the basil complemented everything. I typically don’t like eating raw basil but in this case, I wanted it with every bite.

I asked for sauce recommendations and my waiter said the spicy hawaiian usually doesn’t need a sauce but, in general, recommended the fuego sauce with ranch mixed together. I tried it just for fun and I really liked the combo. But I did agree with my waiter, the spicy hawaiian definitely didn’t need any sauce. If you’re a ranch fan I’d say go for the ranch by itself since the pizza has a small kick to it already.

The pizza itself was super tasty and had an amazing cheese pull. A super solid pizza. I’ll be back to try another pie and some other things on the menu.

Excellent all around. Great service and incredible food. Every pizza we have had has been delicious. Give the carrot appetizer and wood fire wings a try, you will not regret it.

We sat outside for the first time ever. It was too hot outside, but no seats inside for 5. One person was sitting at a large table by himself and wouldn't give it up. Our service was slower than it normally is. Our food was not nearly as good as normal. We love Red's and this is the first time ever, not earn 5 stars across the board.

My first time in tonight. I was jonesin' for some wood fired pizza. Had the Spicy Hawaiian. EXCELLENT hand made pizza. Just had a couple beers and no other food but what I saw around me looked every bit as delicious.

I will absolutely be back - with family and friends! Vet owned and the real deal. I highly recommend Red's. Oh, and I thought the price was excellent too. A hand made, wood fired pizza and 2 drinks for less than you'd spend at a lowly Roundtable for just the cookie cutter pizza. No thanks.

Great food but slow service.

Pizza is fantastic. Service is better. Every employee here works so hard and really makes the customers feel appreciated. This is definitely a go-to spot in the area.

Yo Red's, everytime I come down you're closed. 3rd time it's happened. Today, 12:05, closed. Love the place, but your killing me.

Red’s used to be my go-to pizza spot, but over the last few years it’s felt more miss than hit. The pizza itself is usually pretty good, but the service has really gone downhill. Staff have been slow and not particularly friendly during my recent visits.

On my last trip, none of the high chairs had working seat buckles. I had my baby with me, and she’s an escape artist, so that was stressful. Luckily, I had a high chair attachment in my car. I mentioned it to the staff and they said they’d look into it, but I never heard anything back, which was frustrating.

At this point, I don’t think I’ll be going out of my way to eat here anymore. If they do a pop-up somewhere like Moksa, I’d happily order, but I won’t be dining in at the restaurant again based on my recent experiences.

The best pizza l ever had and the service is amazing.

We've been in this area for 3.5 years now and regretting not coming here sooner! It's one of the best pizza/food varieties I've had since moving here. This kind of quality food I have only tasted in San Francisco (little Italy area) and in Spoleto, Italy. We started with thier Dill Salad. I love pickles and having it in a salad was a first!! The flavors were amazing!! Not overpowering but a great balance between the dill, pickles and the salad dressing!! We also had your basic pepperoni and thier Fresh Fig with arugula. I've been wanting to try a pizza with figs and this place did not disappoint! It's one of my favorite pizzas now!! My husband loved his pepperoni pizza. He said it had a great spice to it. Just a little warning, the place is small and it does get busy during dinner time. And for me it got just a little warm because of the huge red pizza oven. It probably gets really hot during the summer. Otherwise, we can't wait to come back again!!
