Fun and friendly. Halloween trivia was a blast with phenomenal character actors.
The menu prices did not match the amount we were charged. When I asked the bartender about the prices listed on the menu, she blamed the menu manufacturer. She told us that she couldn't give us a receipt, but that we were welcome to wait an hour for the manager to come in. We were there for the princess brunch so waiting for an hour at a bar with a 4 year old wasn't going to happen. There was another person waiting in line behind me who also wanted to inquire about their tables prices, but she ended up leaving because it took so long for either of the bartenders to help us. The whole thing was strange.
I gave two stars because the quesadilla was tasty and the princess (who isn't affiliated with the bar) was great! But the pizza was undercooked, we had to re-cook it at home. Also should be noted that it isn't much of a brunch. It's a small kids menu and their normal bar menu.
Edit: thank you for responding! We knew the prices didn't match because we added up what was on the menu and it didn't add up to what we were charged. We knew this was a free event but we spent $$ at the establishment so it actually wasn't free for us. We gave your small business our business. Lastly, it is advertised as a brunch, that's why I made the note. We were going to give it another try for the next princess brunch but I think we won't be back after this response.

It is so fantastic
Parents, keep your eye out for PainKillers Pub & Grub!
Found out on Faceboom about their first time ever hosting Elsa! There was story time, freeze dancing, games, coloring, and a goody bag! My daughter just got such an intimate time w Elsa. It really filled her cup. The food, drinks, and vibe were great for parents wanting to feel like adults still. Kids menu avail. Ample surface area w the outdoor seating. Connect 4 is also there!
Our total check was $62 ish for 1 drink, 2 apps, 1 entree. Could've been $46 cuz we couldve managed without the entree! We had 2 adults and 1 toddler. My hus fr PA approves of the soft pretzel.
I didn't care for the tri-tip quesadilla. Too thin. Wish it was just carne asada.
Con is food took a long time to come out, but I was told they weren't expecting such a busy Sunday with the Elsa event. I hope to see Spiderman or Moana there some time *hint*hint* This is the last place I would expect a character pop up, but the best setting for parents!!

We love going here. The menu is pub style, but the food is better than typical pub style food. Great selection of beer and also other drinks. Last time we went, three of us ate and drank for less than $65 (plus tip). Austin, the owner, is a great guy and he hires quality people. If you go when Summer is working, tell her Kevin sent you. ?

Food that's actually delicious and well-portioned, beer that isn't overpriced and flat. Alongside the regular activities, it is a place I would like to come back to again if I'm in the Rocklin area. If for nothing else, then for the beer cheese.

Live music was good. We got our drinks right away. Waited about 45 minutes for our food, which came out cold. Ordered some of the jalapeño poppers and asked for the sauce on the side. Of course, it came out after all the other food with the sauce on it. I’ve always loved this place but this will be our last visit. Absolutely zero empathy from the staff for our long wait for cold food. So disappointing!!! Not to mention the bill was far from cheap.
